"I have a lesson!" She blurted out before realising she actually had a free, something George was annoyingly aware of. To make matters worse, her heart rate quickened significantly and her nerves instinctively forced her to stumble back. With Fred yesterday, she'd felt sure she could do it but now that George was here, the inappropriate anxiousness were back.

"Since when?"

She quickly adopted a slouch which was slightly more convincingly than the one with Roger - practice made perfect.

"It was a ... joke!" She said, suddenly laughing raucously, "Got you there... Forge?"

George stood still, cocking his head to the side. To alleviate the awkwardness, she inched forward a little giving him a 'bro' fist bump on the arm. It seemed to have the opposite effect of making things normal so she quickly mumbled, "Sorry, Charms does my head in. Roger is..."

She tried to look at it through Fred's eyes and doubted he would be a fan of the boring, slightly sombre Roger.

"... Dull," She finished which George seemed to agree with, "Yeah, so I do have a free, what do you want to do?"

"What we planned," George replied.

"Which is?"

Fred had mentioned to her that they really enjoyed little pranks, something she'd experienced first hand. Whilst she wasn't the most creative person, if forced she could probably come up with something half decent. The word seemed to be forming on George's lips which gave her the perfect opportunity to try out her speaking in unison thing.

"Pranks."

"The betting for the - what?" George asked, "I mean we can but we have actual stuff to focus on, this and Ludo."

"We're... we're doing maths?"

"Yes, crazy!" George laughed with disbelief, "If Mum could see us now, she'd probably faint with shock."

"Ha, yeah... us working, wow..." Fred had given no warning about this, her heart began to race with worry. He'd made it quite clear they put effort into pranks and winding people up as well as developing their products. Bets and Maths had never been part of the deal, she didn't know anything about Fred's maths' ability! Could he do algebra in seconds? Could he barely divide four by two? He didn't pass Arithmancy O.W.L which gave her a vague guess of how good he was. Then again, he didn't try in class, failing didn't make him bad, just apathetic. With a deep breath, she made the decision to trust her gut and be a little above mediocre.

"Well, come on, h - " She managed to catch herself which boosted her confidence a little, "To our Arithmancy room, as usual?"

"Where else?" George grinned and the two of them began to walk, their feet quickly falling into sync.

"Mr Weasleys!"

The pair whipped around to see McGonagall walking behind them, looking vaguely concerned.

"Problem, Professor?" George asked, Aubrey desperately trying to speak in time but instead sounding like a pathetic echo.

"Mr Weasley?"

"Which one?" Aubrey asked, giving what she hoped was a mischievous Fred grin.

"Fred Weasley, I've long since given up on telling the two of you apart, so whichever one of you is Fred, you're essay was not on my desk as promised three days ago," She said, pursing her lips, "Whilst this Devil may care attitude may seem appealing at present, I can assure you when N.E.W.Ts come around, it will seem less appealing."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Aubrey said quickly, "I'll have it on your desk by tomorrow..."

She became acutely aware of George staring at her oddly, quickly realising this must be out of character.
