Same Day
Houston
Beyoncé's POV
"Wait...hold on." I hear Nicki say beside me. "You want to kill your son?" She asks.

"Of course I don't want to kill him, but he won't stop unless he's dead." Dominic says looking at her.

"Why the hell should I trust someone that one, has already killed one of their sons, and now is planning to kill the other one? How do I know you aren't going to kill me too, since apparently I'm your child?" I say. This is a lot to take in right now, and to be honest, I'm just ready to leave.

"I'll explain everything to you, but I don't want to talk about this in front of everyone. Please...just give me a couple of minutes of your time and I'll leave you alone for now." Dominic waves his hand in the direction of the back yard, pleading with his eyes at me.

I nod my head and slowly get up. "I'll be back in here in a few minutes. If not come look for me. I love you." I say kissing Nicki's hand.

"I love you to."

I look at Tina for a second, and I walk towards the back. I open the sliding glass door, and walk out into the humid Houston air.

"Start talking." I say turning to Dominic.

"First off I want to say thank you for even talking to me. I know you don't like me very much but I hope in the future that will change. I do want to have a relationship with you if your willing if course." I cross my arms and shift my weight to my right leg, prompting him to hurry up. "I know David has your wife's best friend and I have someone in place to make sure that she doesn't get hurt anymore. My son is a disgrace to this family and to my legacy, and I refuse to let him takeover the empire I have worked so hard to build. The only way I know that will permanently keep you and your wife and friends safe, is if he dies." He walks to the end of the deck and sits down on one of the steps.

"I love my son, God knows I do, but I hate him at the same time. I had to kill my own son because of him and his incessant need to be in power." He looks up and shakes his head. "And now he's threatening you and Onika...I just...I don't know Beyoncé, I can't lose anymore people that I love to him."

I let out a long sigh, and go and sit down next to him. We sit in silence, my face glossy from the water in the air.

"He wasn't always like that." I say looking at the horizon line. "When we first met, he was so sweet to me and whenever I needed him, he was there for me." I say my eyes watering. "He was my best friend...and when Matthew told me that he was dead...I went into a state of depression for a very long time."

"That was all an act Bey. He needed to gain your trust so that when the time came for him to put his plan into action, he had someone in his corner."

I wipe my eyes and stand up, pacing back and forth in front of the steps.

"If you knew that he was like that, why didn't you say or do anything to stop him?" I ask angrily.

"I didn't know how bad it really was until I was forced to kill Damien. David told me after that fact that he has this planned out a really long time ago, and I couldn't do anything about it then because I didn't have proof."

"All I hear coming out of your mouth is a bunch of dumb ass excuses." I say, waving my hand dismissively.

Dominic opens his mouth to say something, but is interrupted when his phone starts to ring. He pulled it out of his pocket, and his eyes widen at his screen. "Its David." He says.
