It used to be the women of the house stayed home; in the kitchen. They stayed with their children. The men of the house went out for jobs or food. Women were the weaker sex. Men were always dominant...
Then, over time, women began to realize that they, just like men, could go out. So, eventually, they went out, got an education, and supplied the family. The men and women were of equal sex...
Years pass, and thing grow out of hand. It's like turning the heat up on max when, at first, it was gradual. Men suddenly became the weaker sex. They stayed home, in the kitchen. They taught the children. They were married off. Women were the dominant sex now, they could practically do whatever they wanted.
Men didn't have a say. Because of this change. Men changed. Without the needed freedom- walking, exercising, running- and being cooped up in a house all day, they began to grow weaker; thinner.
Women began to grow stronger; taller. They grew muscular, less feminine. It was strange. Women were now masculine, and men were now feminine.
August, a 18 year old male, wondered just how everything changed. His grandfather told him stories of how the female president of his time declared that men could no longer hold a job. He wondered why people don't think of men as equal. Did men somehow lose the privilege to be on the same grounds as women?
If that were the case, then why was it affecting future generations. It's not like someone does something wrong, and suddenly it's their unborn child's fault.
August wants to be on equal grounds with women. He wants, even if he has never experienced it before, to be just like women. The past is in the past, and it's time for everyone to be set free.
How will he accomplish this? Especially when his mother is about to marry him off to some rich women in another state. Maybe this could be an opportunity.
