AJ (Ariel Jones) was kidnapped when he was just 7 years of age. At the time, no one knew where he went, or who had taken him.
AJ's parents grew depressed, at least, he thinks. He doesn't know. He hopes that they cared enough about him to miss him that much.
Now, he is 15 and all that's left in his mind of his parents, are the occasional recollections of laughter, their faces, or his jumping up and down in the park in their presence.
Daily, he wishes for someone, anyone to save him. He is too weak. He can't do it himself, even if he wanted to. His kidnappers neglected to feed him regularly.
Finally, on the night of a shooting star, police come breaking through the front door.
