The virus wiped out more than 3/4 of the population. Women were rare, births even rarer.
The virus affected humans, not only killing them. It changed them. Not for the better.
Now, 15 years after the spread of the virus, infants birthed from an infected mother have... morphed. They can do things that no regular human can.
How do I know this? Because I'm one of the rare cases; I'm 15, and I was born from an infected mother.
