12. Zombies and Mermaids

"It's one thing to say that your a mermaid. It's also another to say that there will be a zombie apocalypse. But to say that your a mermaid, and that there will be a zombie apocalypse, is absurd!"

"Technically, I'm a merman- a merman. And... yeah... it's absurd. But it's true."

It's quite odd to mix Supernatural a together in one story. Its also quite stupid. You can never make it sound good. Of course, there are exceptions, like the series Supernatural, and me.

Before that day, I had never set foot on land; never dreamed of it. I'm not some love struck Ariel waiting for her Prince Charming, or in my case, princess charming.

Then, my mother comes up to me and says, "Rain! You are the only one who can save us all!" It's weird, I know, and I agree, but then, I heard her reasoning.

"If those stupid humans go on with their 'science', then they'll unintentionally bring the dead back from their graves!"

I was ignorant at the time, so, me being me, I dumbly asked what that had to do with mermaids.

"If they do raise the dead, then their creations will spread to us! It'll destroy everything! Life on earth will decay while alive. Dead plants and animals will morph into something more; something much worse..."

An before I knew it, I was pushed onto dry land. Nothing but seaweed underwear and a question in my head, "How the heck did my mother know about the activities of the humans?"
