Tenshi

Thousand Sunny

I woke to the feeling of the ship violently shaking.

"Sea King attack!" I heard Usopp yell.

I rushed to join the others. I managed to sleep without having my hood fall off. Lucky.

Luffy was clinging to his special seat, laughing like an innocent child while admiring the view in front of him. And by 'view', I mean the giant sea clam-looking Sea King that is currently trying to chomp down the ship.

"Gomu gomu no..." he said as he launched himself mid air. "Gattling gun!" he yelled and he gleefully attacked the Sea King with a barrage of punches. The ship lurched forward violently, a wave swallowing the Sea King's figure for a moment, spraying mists of sea water everywhere. Luffy landed on the deck, laughing joyfully as he yelled "Sanji!!! I caught a Sea King!! Cook it!!!". He faced the kitchen, waiting for Sanji to come out.

As soon as he turned his back on the Sea King, I knew something was wrong. The Sea King's hard shell made it invulnerable to Luffy's attacks, I presume. Its figure towered over the unsuspecting captain. Crap. That idiot is in danger.

Before I realized what I was going to do, my body went on autopilot.

Soru

In a split second I appeared in mid air atop the giant sea clam-looking Sea King. Shit. I shouldn't be doing this in front of all of them.

Rankyaku

I kicked in the air with great force, creating a wave that sliced through the Sea King's shell, instantly killing it. I hovered in the air for a moment, making sure that it doesn't attack the ship. At the corner of my eye, I saw that the entire crew had already gathered at the deck. So they've seen the whole thing eh?

I landed neatly on the deck, facing the entire crew. Robin and Fanky seemed to be on a red alert at my display of combat. Luffy, on the other hand, was grinning like an idiot. Well, he is one, but you get the point.

"That. Was. COOL!!!" Luffy exclaimed, his eyes glittering in excitement.

Chopper followed his captain's example, fawning over me like I'm some sort of hero.

"Tenshi-san, are you a Rokushiki user?" Robin asked, her eyes boring into mine looking for any tell-tale of lies. Slowly, I nodded my head. They've already seen it anyway. No point in trying to cover it all up.

"Tenshi-san, please don't be offended by my next question. I want you to answer in all honesty," Robin waited, asking for permission to continue. Her eyes not leaving mine for a second. I merely nodded. What other choice do I have?

"Are you allied to the marines?" she asked. Immediately everyone stopped what they were doing to wait for my reply. I stiffened. With all the confidence I could muster, I simply shook my head. I was technically one, but I'm not now.

"I see." was Robin's reply. The tension in the air seemed to evaporate as soon as Robin let out those words. Does that mean they trust me now?

"Well, thanks for saving the ship." Franky said, waving his hand and walking off to his workshop, I presume. I shrugged like it was nothing despite knowing he can't see me.

Luffy and Chopper had resumed gawking at me was now joined by Usopp.

"Hey, Tenshi, can you fly?" Luffy asked.

"Tenshi, can you sprout wings?" Chopper asked.

"Obviously not, idiots." Usopp said. I'm glad someone is less of an idiot around here.
