chapter 21- there he is again

I hold my head down as I walk through the streets of London, wearing my new contacts. In still trying to get this, 'engagement' thing through my head. As I walk, I couldn't help but zone out, until I bump into someone.

"Oh...sorry mi-" I look at who it is.

"Audrey?" it was Zayn.

"well well...ain't it the man of the hour. Are you happy with that...girl of yours? hm? your fiance? hm?" He doesn't respond,

"was that in your contract?"

"n-no..."

"that's what I though." I start to turn around and head back to my apartment but Zayn follows.

"I like your new songs...but who are they about" I say straight out,

"my ex" As I continue watching, he still follows. Stopping, I turn to him and say,

"WHY are you following me?"

"Aud, we haven't talked in like...two years." Zayn stuffs his hands in his pockets,

"and I was wondering if you'd come to my wedding." I rub my eyes,

"come on..."

At my house, Zayn sits on the couch,

"you still live here?" I nod, not really in the mood for this,

"I finished school so I'm gonna live here."

"are you...dating anyone?"

"no...not now." I sit on the stairs and sigh,

"you know, you broke my heart Zayn, you crushed it into a million pieces" he doesn't respond, hopefully, he felt guilty, which he should be.

"I do want you to be at my wedding." as he speaks, I realized something,

"why aren't you at home?"

"I missed this place so much." I roll my eyes,

yeah, right.

"is it ok...if I live here for a bit, again?" I turn to him,

"sure" he smiles wide,

"but you have to pay, about 33£ a week." he then frowns,

"ok...I guess I deserve that." as I get up to go to my room, a smile appears on my face.
