Antiquity
Once the jinn arrived on Kaf, they renamed themselves as the Djinn and to navigate the physical lands took on the forms of animals or forms they called humanoids to make their civilization. Adjustments from the original plans lead to the propagation of other lifeforms like Deities, Magifauna, Magiflora, Faye, Henge, and Hominins. Of these came new intelligent creatures that formed their own civilizations and territories. Divinities also create their own realms using the main spirit world as an anchor to watch over the mortal races and empower champions and heroes to spread worship of them.
The races build their civilizations and begin cultural and material trades with other races.
Ghulat Wars
A long forgotten faction of beings known as Shaytan invaded the planet to subjugate its people and acquire their resources. The native Kaf races and empires retaliated by joining forces, rapidly increasing in technology, and even creating a base on the moon for off-world R&D. The following millennia would be an arms race against the native population and their gods empowering them versus the invaders, and the monsters and demons they created or spawned from corrupted spirits. Eventually the people were able to exterminate the invaders but at the cost of heavy environmental degradation and famine due to their global war causing mineral resource and fossil fuel exhaustion and runaway climate change. Even the godrealms and the moon base couldn't escape the effects of war and they were infiltrated and decimated by demonic forces. Ultimately, civilizations all over the world collapsed, many species including sapient ones went into extinction or were forced into daily struggles just to survive and the deities that were left faded in power.
Modernity
Nature began to reclaim the ruins of civilization with most of the surviving linages of people surviving in the wilderness or living out simple lives in small scattered settlements. As more natural environments rebound and recover from the millennia after the global war, the remaining peoples travel the world and ruins to find remains of previous technology and history. As most of the world's fossil fuels have been depleted, these technological artifacts are remade to use the remaining renewable resources or inspire new technology. Slowly, urban centers are developed focused on renewable energy and working with the natural environment instead of exploiting it along with the formation of residence built within natural features like treetop and mountain cities.
