Sona landed in the Mumbai International Airport and noticed the changes in her own country in one year.. She has not visited her homecity since a year. She always miss her country and a lot of memories are associated with this city, the memories with which she has been living all these years. 'I wish I could go back to where it all started, I would have changed so many things, whatever happened' she thought and then booked a taxi to her parents' home. She doesnt consider it as her own bcz she only spent 15 years in that house out of her 25 year lifetime..
After half an hour, she reached her home and was welcomed with grand style by her parents nd unfortunately her relatives. She so hate them from the core of her heart. They r the one who brainwashed her father, compelled her to leave everybody and now leaving a lonely life..
"I missed u so much dear" Sona's mom hugged her. She reciprocated and then hugged her father
"I m so happy to see u here.. I have been dying to get ur one glimpse love" he told
"We r so happy and proud of ur success Sona" one of her relative chipped nd she just passed a smile.
"Do u know Reshma, she earns...." her mom was about to reveal her salary but Sona interrupted "Mom, leave all this.. I m going to my room to freshen up nd am hungry as well."
"It will be tough to find a groom for such an overachiever Asha" Sona's aunty told her mom.
Sona could not tolerate more and left the scene and went to her room.
Her room was still the same with all her belongings in their perfect place. It seems like nobody has tried to mess up her things but the room was maintained properly.
"I don't have any dresses for the wedding functions.. I m screwd." She got fresh and came down.
SONA'S POV
"Mom nd Dad, m going to Goa tomorrow" I finally told them the reason to come to India. They were surprised or say shocked, "but you have just come today. Why are u going there? "my mom asked
"to attend a friend's wedding"
"Friend ? Name? " my father asked
"My school friend Priya"
"U came here for ur friend and not to meet us" mom started her emotional drama.
"It's not like that mom. I wanna meet them and after the wedding, i ll be staying here for some days. Don't worry"
I finished my food and went upstairs to my room. So at last I am going to meet them after 9 freaking years. The most special person is Rehaan,my best friend but why did not he call me for his wedding? Is he angry on me? I will get all my answers there. Let's start packing.
