"I swear if I had a gun, I would have killed Bihag right now. Who sends freaking 50 messages in a day and 10 missed calls in one go" she screamed while arranging her curls.
"Because he loves u" I replied
"Yea.. Like the way Nitya does" she said with sarcasm in her tone
"She doesnt love me" I protested. Why it always have to be her in between of all the convo?
"As if I care" Sona said and her words hurt me a bit as unknowingly, a new feeling has arised in my heart for the girl whom I hated in childhood
"Why dont u care? U should. Dont u find me handsome? Common Sona, u cant lie" I tried to be a bit flirtatious but Sona is no less. Why am I doing this rubbish things around her?
"I would rather have a crush on Voldemort" she said
What?? She is comparing me to that ugly man of Harry Potter.. How can I forget her craze for Harry Potter- Bloody Potter head
"Girls die to be near me, I can make them wet in their dreams" I said without realizing thw rods which slipped from my mouth. She looked upto me in disbelief, her eyes reflect shock which were soon replaced by a smirk on lips. Her plum lips... Control Dev

Is this new Sonakshi a way more too blunt? Never in my entire school life, I heard this words from her mouth but we were kids then
"U should have a check on ur words" I said thinking of no other reply
"Who is saying this? The person who just..." shee was about to say but then Rehaan came. Thank God, he did otherwise it would be a hell of an embarrassing moment for me
"Sup guys" he said
"Our groom has come after meeting his bride" Sona said
"How do u know?" he asked
"The brightness in ur face says it all. I can read ur face" Sona said. I cant understand the bonding between them, its beyond special and far away too strong than anyone can imagine
"Our baba SOnakshi knows everything" He said dramatically
"At least about u"
I felt like an outsider in between them. I had no words to say
"Have u applied fevicol on ur lips Buddy?" Rehaan asked breaking my trance
"Huh..??"
"U arent saying anything"
"Oh.. Actually, I had no words to say right now" I made this lame excuse
"Speak up yaar.. Today is my last day of freedom and tomorrow is the marriage" Rehaan said
"I think Priya needs to know about ur sorrow" Sona said
"No need of this chugli.. Lets celebrate it in the pool area outside. I ll bring wine and u guys go there"
"No wine before marriage Rehaan.. U need good sleep before the rituals. I dont want my best friend to have dark circles on the special day of his life. U go and rest" Sona said
"We wont get time after that" he said
"Will I die after ur marriage? No na.. Be a good boy" she said
"DOnt u dare say about dying and all. I m going to sleep" he hugged me and SOna and left us alone
"He looks so happy" Sona exclaimed
"Yea.. After all, its his wedding" I reasoned
"Wedding with his love" she added and a huge grin appeared on her face. I want that smile to flourish on her face forever and if I am the reason, then it would be cherry on the cake
"So tell me about ur girlfriend" she said out of nowhere
"I dont have one" I replied honestly
"Dont lie Mr Dev Dixit. Common on, speak up" she insisted
"Why wuld I be lying? Are u counting ur chances?" I said with a smirk
"I think Dev is being a bit flirty now a days. Magic of someone special?"
'Yea.. Its because of u... What? Hell no. What am I saying? she is a friend of yours and nothing else' I was struggling with the thghts in my mind
"Back to Earth Dev" she said
"I think we should go out on a night walk" I diverted the topic but she didnt protest
Reaching the pool area, we found it empty. May be everybody has slept
"Have a seat" she said and made herself comfortable on the ground and then dipping her legs into the cold water
"Isnt it cold? I mean its winter." I said with care in my words
"Dont overthink in everything. Sometimes, just go in the flow" she said enjoying her time. This is the best part of her.. I like it
I too sat near her and she leaned her head on my shoulders, once again
"I m leaving day after tomorrow" a tear escaped her eyes
"But.. Tomorrow is the wedding and u need rest to travel" I said
"Thats not a point. I will miss everyone here.. Again loneliness will overcome me" she said and I could hear her sobs
"DOnt say that again.. I m always there, the companion. Call me or just text me" I said and her lips curled up into a smile
"Its easy to say Dev but when distance make its way in a relationship, then we dont have time for each other.." I cut her in between saying, " I mean it Sonakshi"
She hugged me.. Oh God, her hug is damn special and I found my heartbeat racing on a different rate.
