SONA'S POV
"What was that?" I asked him for the fifth time and he would dodge it.
"Nothing much, just munching my sandwich" he replied with a smirk.
"I am serious" I said but he doesn't seem to care
"Mr Dev Dixit, I am talking to you" I stood up on my feet, enough to gather the attention.
"Let me have it first and then I will have you *pause* tell you" he finished
His double meaning sentences can be extremely irritating sometimes. Vulgur idiot!
"Now say baby" he said
"Don't baby me. What are you doing here?" I asked again.
"I have some work here" he replied as casually as its sounding.
"And your French date?"
Oops, danger alert.. As expected Dev's smirk grew wider and I know he got to know my inner emotions.
Fuck you Mr. Dixit!
"I am here for that only" he said
"Oh!"
And for once I felt he must have joked. Curse my mind and heart.
All of a sudden, he started laughing like a maniac as if I am a clown doing some crazy stuffs.
"Someone is jealous, I suppose" he pinched my cheeks
I love his hands on me....
Focus Sona.
"In your dreams" I said.
"If you accept it, you won't get fat" he said in her style.
"Anyways I am not getting fat like school" rolling my eyes, I sipped my coffee.
"You were chubby dude" he counter back and I wasn't expecting it.
"And my French date was just a bluff to see your jealous face and laugh" and he started laughing.
"This means you came here to meet me?" I asked meekly
"Took you long to get it" he ordered the waiter to bring the bill.
"Really?" As it was hard for me to believe.
"Stop the drama Ms Kapoor and let's move out cz the off is only for two days and I don't want to waste a single second"
"I still can't believe how you convinced my boss for it" and he dragged me out of the cafe.

"I am so tired" Dev said but I am not as I can't get enough of him. Everything about today was the best. I got my life back and hopefully the old Sona will recover back soon.
"The beach is here" I exclaimed and the sparks in his eyes showed that he loved the scene in front of him.
"Woah...." He squealed in joy.
"I love it"
We were walking nearer to feel the shore when I received a call from..
"Yea Bihag?"
"Busy?" He asked short.
"Not exactly. Anything important?" I asked. On the other hand, Dev was calling me.
"Sir wanted that PDF of Styles Co which is in your mail. Send it ASAP" he hung up and it was rude.
I did the needful and switched off my phone. I wanna enjoy my present with Dev as he made this effort to meet me here.
"Bihag's call?" He laughed.
I don't get what's so funny about the matter.
"Official work" I replied.
Dev took my hand, entangled our fingers and the smile was back.
We ran to the shore like kids and thats what is giving me happiness now.
After some splashing we sat and the memory of India flashed in my mind.
"Thanks for coming" I said
"Arey O Sona, no sorry no thank u in friendship" he acted dramatically and I had to chuckle.
"What changed you so much from school Dev?" I asked out of nowhere.
He was looking with intimidating eyes at me and it brought our frames closer than before.
"I will say when time comes. Let's get back to your apartment" he said and got up.
"My apartment? You gotta be kidding me dude" I said
"I am not. I am your guest and Atithi devo bhava" he laughed
