SONA'S POV
I dont wanna cry but a lone tear escaped my eyes without my approval. I turned to Priya, she held my hand and dragged me towards the way where Rehaan had gone. The people around could not sense anything but I was glad that Rehaan's mom passed me a smile and permission to mend all my relations here.. Her love for me is just unconditional.
Soon we were standing outside Rehaan's room.
"Rehaan open the door" Priya shouted
"Just leave me alone Priya" he screamed and we heard something broken inside. His rage is turning dangerous
"Rehaan, just open the damn door, my swear". This was her final weapon to compel him to do whatever she wants. After a span of 5 mins, he opened the door and I got his full glimpse after 9 years. His eyes were fluffy and red. The big three entered his room and Priya discovered that he broke the vase and a glass ta andble, blood was oozing out from his hand.
"Show me your hands" Priya insisted but he shrugged off her hands.
"Just go out Priya, I need to talk to her"
Priya was reluctant but after getting my assurance she left us alone. Now the room was filled with deadly silence
"What do u want? Why have u come here?" His voice was sharp and rude
"Your wedding Rehaan. U promised me that I should join ur marriage from Groom's side and so I came to...." my voice choked
"Promises are meant to be broken Miss. and I have learnt this from u only" His statement was full of sarcasm.
"See Rehaan, I m sorry and I know..."
"What do u know ha? Do u know my condition after u left? Do u know how much I needed u in my tough time? Do u know that...." he broke down in front of me. I cant see this vulnerable state of him, so to give him support, I touched his shoulders.
"Dont u dare touch me.. Since u r a guest, I wont throw u out as I have this much of ethics. On top of that u r my fiance's guest. Stay in ur limit" Saying this, he left me alone there.
My tears were not ready to stop after his rude lines.
"I have never thought in my life that my best friend would hate me so much"
"Because there is love and trust" came a reply from Priya
"Listen Sona, if u were not best friends, then there would not have been any kind of situation like this. He trusted u the most. He is hurt but that doesnt mean he hates u. He is covering his emotions with a layer of hatred and thats it. Now go and freshen up. Come down for Haldi Rasam"
I wiped my tears, "Where is my room?"
"The opposite one"
"What? Does Rehaan know about it?"
Priya nodded in no. "Go to ur room and brush this thoughts away."
She smiled and I felt fortunate enough to have a lovely friend like her

DEV'S POV
"I just hope everything is fine. Should I go there?" I was in my world of thoughts when I noticed Rehaan was coming back followed my Priya. Where is Sonakshi? Has she left?
I looked up to Priya in order to get some hint of the situation and she assured me that everything is fine. Its great but where is Sonakshi?
The haldi ceremony started and all were enjoying it. I applied haldi to their cheeks and palms and shoulders. We had great fun
An hour paased but no sign of Sonakshi
'Why do u want her so desperately?' my brain mocked
