"I said Hi Dev" she chipped and dis interestingly I nodded.
"You won't greet me?" she asked.
'Cz I am not pleased to see you' my mind said
"Come sit" she offered and I roam my eyes all over the room to discover two luggage bags placed in the corner.
"Actually, I am quite hungry. I will have something and..."
"Cut the crap Dev, dont be a kiddo" she got up and holding my hand, dragged me to sit on the bed just beside her.
This is torture. Pure Torture.
"How long are you planning to avoid me?" she questioned.
"I am not" that was my meek reply.
She sighed.
"When did you come?" I can ask that ok.
"Afternoon" and I nodded.
"Listen Dev, I... I mean we.. n..."
"Its ok Sonakshi, I understand, actually I thought whatever you said everything was so fucking right in every place. We are just poles apart to be together" now I am losing control.
"Dev.."
"No no, don't think I am being immature cz I do know the perks of long distance, my patients suffer from depression because of all these and being their doctor, I have to feel them. And we are quite successful in our careers and we can't leave it for any bull's sake no matter what. But I wanna tell you something which I should have told you before that my feelings for you is not newly grown, its been inside me since years, since the days of school. "
Her expression changed.
"It took me almost 4 years to get this thing in my mind that I, Dev Dixit had a crush on you. See, I was so damn dumb and I still am like this, nobody can change me or my thinking or anything. The fatso Sonakshi captured my mind the same as the sexy Sonakshi. I had to say all these so that I can focus on my work cz every thing reminds me of.." before I could complete she captured my lips and it felt good.
It felt heavenly.
I sneaked my arms behind and held her waist, to pull her closer. My mind relaxed and the moment was still.
"Gosh guys, lock the door at least" and we broke apart hearing Priya's voice.
"I am sorry" Sona said
"Weren't you right?"
"I was but then I realized that I can't let this man go from my life" she pecked my lips.
"I didn't get it" she was confusing me now.
"This means, I wanna be near my happiness"
"And your job?"
"I left it" she said it simply.
"What!!" I pushed her lightly
"Are you nuts Sona? Why did you take the big step?"
"I said I can't afford to lose you" she replied
"But...."
Have I acted selfish?
And she started laughing.
"Dude, chill. Our company is opening its first branch in India and being one of their best employees, they appointed me here" she hugged me so tight
"Wait wait. This means you will stay here.. With me?"
"Yup. I wanted to tell this to you via phone but you never picked it up"
"Shit.. Why didn't I?" I cursed myself.
