A bright ray sunshine fell on the faces of two souls who slept in each other's arms the whole night
He opened my eyes and felt a heavy weight on my chest. As he saw the face, his eyes widened up in shock.
Sona was sleeping peacefully with her mouth a little ajar. Her sleeves were down and he found a red spot over there
Is that a hickey? Fuck.. Who did that?
As they both had clothes on their body, he was relieved that atleast they didnt have sex but what is she doing in his arms? Why are they both sleeping on her room like a couple?
Sona opened her eyes lazily and she too was dumbfounded to see Dev so close to her. They both got up immediately
"What are u doing in my room?" she said pulling up her sleeves
"I dont know.. Werent we sipping drinks outside?" Dev pulled his hair in frustration
"How we ended up here then? That too on the same bed?" she almost screamed
"I have no clue Sona but dont worry, we didnt have sex" he said while she narrowed her eyes
"Its not about sex Dev. I am asking that..." she turned towards the mirror and saw the hickey
"What the hell" she shouted and Dev knew that disaster has broken
"U did that?" she asked pointing towards it
"I dont remember but may b yes" he said in a low voice
"Did we have a mini makeout session after the drink?" Sona asked while rubbing the spot
"Probably. We were not in our senses and I m sorry for everything but it was ur idea to drink" he said
"I m sorry too now dont feel awkward. It happened bcz we were drunk and nothing serious" she acted calm but her heartbeats were increasing in a different rate. Same was the case with him
She got up and went to the bathroom taking her bathrobe
"Is this casual for her? I badly wanna know what happened last night. Did I reveal something? Aahh" he groaned in irritation
On the other hand, Sona too was fighting with her brain
"I acted calm before him but my breath is uneven and my heartbeats arent in normal pace. Why is this happening? Did I say that I like him? What if he remembers? I ruined it"

"The big day has arrived buddy" Dev hugged Rehaan when the door clicked open and entered Sona in a simple kurti having a collar and a denim jeans.He knew it well why she wore that
"Someone is getting hitched today" she said and moved her steps towards them. Dev's heartbeats ditched him again
Sona and Rehaan hugged each other as if it was the last milan. Priya wasnt allow to meet him as it is an Indian ritual
In the mean time, Rehaan's phone beeped up with a phone call and he ran to pick it up but unfortunately, SOna was faster than him
"Sorry Priya but no chit chatting before marriage" she commanded and hung up the call
"Why did u do that?" Rehaan sat on the bed like a kid
"Indian ritual my dear best friend. Follow it and u will have a successful married life" Sona said
"Wait.. When u will have ur marriage, then I m gonna do the same. Irritate u to the core" Rehaan replied
"I am not going to get married anytime soon" Sona said
"Its final that i will make u settle at the end of this year" Rehaan uttered and unknowingly, Sona's eyes moved towards Dev who was also looking at her with intensity
"We will discuss that. Now I need to go as Aunty is calling me for some preps" Sona left
"This girl is crazy" they said in unison
Dev's eyes were searching for her but she was nowhere to be found. Her laughter again caught his attention
As soon as their eyes met, Dev ignored and felt the need to leave the place but she called
"Dev.."
"Huh?"
"I know u arent feeling great after the morning incident but please, cant we act like mature people? it ws awkward but cant help. So just be back as yourself" she said in a go
"U r right." that was only reply he could have thought for
"I m always right. Anyways, Nitya was looking for u"
The next moment, Nitya engulfed him in a hug, "We met after so long Dev. U were always busy" she said and Sona giggled
"I think I should leave" Excusing herself, Sona left them alone
"Dev, why u didnt contact me?" she asked
"Why am I suppose to do that?" he cocked his brows
"Because... arent we friends?"
"I dont think so we are. U address me as ur boyfriend in front of ur friends and u think that I wont know about it?" he patted his back for his successful venture
"I never did that" she fumbled with her words
"Why the heck are u fmbling then? I overheard ur convo one night. I would have been ur friend if u never did this kind of rubbish things. Me and ur boyfriend? Its never going to happen. SO stop clinging and leave me alone" he joined his hands and left, leaving behind a stunned Nitya
On the other hand, Sona was busy with the ladies in some functions and Dev signed her to come with him
"Why have u called?" she asked
"Thnks"
"For what?'
"U helped me in getting rid of Nitya" he said; and her lips curled up into a big smile
"It wasnt a help. I told u whatever I heard. Thats it. It was u who believed me"
"I will always believe u" he said with lots of emotions in his eyes
