Emma

Standing on the rough rocks of the pier and the breeze hitting me wildly, my hair all over the place; I sit down on the edge of the rocks facing the wavy sea. I grab my cell phone from my handbag and diallel one of the only numbers I know by heart. I need to talk to the only boy that has always been there for me since I was born, and that's Daniel, my full blooded brother that I absolutely deny calling half-brother because that's not how I see it

"Hi sweetie, how are you?" His hoarse voice smashes into my ear. He must we watching Tv on the sofa with Ella or something. I hope I haven't disturbed him but now I need him more than ever.

"Could I come to visit you this weekend?" I ask.

"Of course, you're always welcome Em. Do you want me to come and pick you up?" He offers. But I'm not going to make him fly over here to fly back.

"It's fine, I'll get the first plane out tomorrow morning to Miami international airport. I'll send you the details when I book the flight tonight." I say relieved that I'll see him soon and that I can get out of this crazy city now.

"Great baby, see you in the morning. I'll pick you up." He announces, I can hear the excitement in his voice.

"Thank you, Dan, See you tomorrow.Love you, bye!" After that, I hang up the phone and stay there staring at the wavy sea. I was going to sleepover at Megan's house but her grandparents flew over from Virginia to visit for the weekend and I don't want to intrude.

Hunter

After the marvellous victory, we all left to celebrate at the bar in the city. Not all the players came but roughly we are 30 players here and some family and friends came along. At the second part of the game, I looked at the stands where everyone was cheering and I lost sight of Emma. I wondered if she got bored and went home. I can't keep Emma out of my mind. I think of her more than I have ever thought of anyone. And then there's Hannah. I get my phone out of my pocket and search for Hannah is my contact list.

Hunter: We need to talk in the morning.

I hit send. I have not been so sure of anything so much as I am with his decision. I have to be a man and fight for the girl I really love, and the feelings I used to have for Hannah have gently faded away.

We head home at 10 o'clock, the guys are quite tired from playing the intense first game of the season. We had to come back even stronger at the second part but luckily we won. Die-hard is blasting on the flat tv screen. Dean is spread on the white long couch on the left-hand side of the television, Garry and I are sitting on the cream-coloured couch with our feet on the coffee table that's set in front of us. And then there's Matthew that's on the other white couch opposite the one where Dean is on the right-hand side of the television. The doorbell suddenly rings and we all look at each other asking if anyone is expecting guests with our faces but everyone shrugs.

"Has anyone ordered Pizza?" Matthew asks. But nobody answers. I ignore it and continue watching the film thinking that it's probably one of Dean chicks. Dean gets up to get the door because he's closest to the hall.
