Lea.
"What are you waiting for?" Ant asked as i stood outside my parents house in Atlanta. It's been a month since everythings happened and i heard no signs of Ray which is good but i know i will see him again but im going to save that for another day.
Ant and I have been good so far, he's moving things with me slow which is what i want and the more closer i get to him the more he's going to get under my skin. He actually convinced me to take a trip back home to visit my parents.
Of course, they have no clue i am here and i hope i make their day by surprising them. I sighed as i looked at Ant one more time my nerves coming back up and as i was about to knock on the door, it swung opened revealing a replica of me but much older in front of me.
"Le-Leanna?" A wide smile spread across her face her hands going to her lips with her purse clunged onto her arm.
"Was this a bad time?" I asked as i looked at her outfit and it looked like she was on her way out.
"Oh no, honey its never a bad time when your daughter comes by to see you." She exclaimed as she pulled me into her embrace squeezing me tight.
"Thank Ant, he's the one whom actually help me fly back outchea." I chuckled hugging her back.
"Oh now i know you were in New Orleans, you're picking up their slang." She giggled as she let me go and her eyes went to Ant.
"It's always good to see you again Anthony, how are you? You look so different from when i last seen you! How's you're mother?" Mom asked him as a warm smile stayed plastered on her lips.
"She's fine, i guess. It's nice to see you again too, Mrs. Davis." He half smiled as he came up closer to me and grabbed my hand.
My mother looked down at our hands surprised and she gave me a look but acted like she didn't even notice it. She probably thinks i'm still with Ray since i haven't told her everything yet. "Uhm, yeah. Well where were you headed to? We could just stop back later." I said hesitantly.
"I was actually going to meet up with your dad for lunch. You should join us, it seems like we have a lot to discuss." She suggested as she looked between me and Ant.
"Oh no we're fin-"
"That'll be great. We'll follow you." Ant smiled as he cut me off and stepped to the side to let my mom through. I looked at him as if he was crazy and he ignored my glances and dragged me to the car.
"I was hoping my dad wasn't home. I'm not ready to see him yet nor am i ready to tell them everything Ant." I whined as i put my seat belt on irritably.
"You've waited too long, its time to tell them so you can move on." Ant said as he cranked the car up and started to follow my mom.
"Okay but you still haven't even talked to your mother." I shot back as i crossed my arms.
After i said that he got silent for a second, and for a second i thought maybe he got mad of what i said and i probably shouldn't of even said it. I knew he had some unresolved issues with her and i just threw it in his face. I could tell he got a attitude after i said it by the look on his face.
"I already did the talking. It ain't work." He responded dryly.
We both didn't have nothing else to say after that i could tell i created some tension by it and i just decided to ignore my feelings for once and just tell my parents.
