Stepping out of the shower I wrapped my wet hair into a towel and started to walk to my bedroom seeing Ant coming from downstairs and walking towards my bedroom as well.
He didn't say anything to me like he's done for the past week we've been home from Atlanta. Which I could careless, if he wants to play the ignoring game fine with me.
I walked in after him and started to gather my clothes so I could get ready for work.
While doing my hair I seen him irritably look my way but made it seem like I wasn't paying him any mind.
"I hate when you lie to me." He spoke up breaking the silence between us and I narrowed my eyes at him.
"What does that mean?" I asked as if I had no clue what he was talking about.
"Sheri told me about Kayla at your job." He said as his eyes stayed on me and I sighed as I turned to him. (A/N: I don't know if you noticed this or not but last chapter I totally got Sheri's name wrong and called her Sierra 🤣)
"Okay. Do you know who she is?" I crossed my arms.
"I put two and two together when I rolled up to your job and Sheri was glad to point her out to me." Ant explained.
I pushed some of my hair out of the way as I shook my head. "So she is your ex?"
"Yes. She's someone from my past that I dropped a while ago." He admitted.
"What happened?" I asked as I brought all of my attention to him.
"She messed around with another nigga on me and getting knocked up claiming the baby was mines but I knew damn well I ain't nut in her when we fucked. Kicked her to the curb and lost all contact with the girl." He told me as he sat down on my bed.
"The day Ray kidnapped me she was with him somehow and she's the one that let me go but I knew she wasn't doing it out of the goodness of her. She has something up her sleeve." I said as I was finishing up on my hair looking over at the time seeing it was 9 o'clock at night already and I had to be there in thirty minutes I was doing another night shift.
"Well she's not going to touch you." He reassured me as he came behind me and wrapped his arms around me.
"I wouldn't let the bitch do it anyways. Willingly that is." I shot back as I finished getting ready and standing up going for my keys.
"Is that all you was keeping from me?" Ant asked and I nodded lying of course.
"Yes. That's all." I said as he stared searching for something before he came up and hugged me.
He walked me downstairs where I grabbed my purse and a water bottle. As I was about to open the door someone knocked at the same time.
When I opened it I seen the one person I hoped wouldn't show up anymore. I bit my lips as I looked back to see Ants reaction and I could see he looked confused to why she was standing in front of his door.
"August..."
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Ant snapped and I kind of jumped at his response.
Fuck.
"Leanna invited me over." Ms. Sheila spoke up and I looked back to Ant again and I seen him dart his eyes to me and then back at his mother. I could tell by the way he looked at me I really fucked up.
