Wiping the warm towel on my face I removed all of the dried tears away and tied my hair up walking out of the bathroom and went to the Queen sized bed and laid in it planning to absorb myself in these sheets the whole trip.
I heard a knock coming from the connected doors and figured it was Jhen. She has been checking on me nonstop since yesterday when I finally told her about my life from the very beginning.
I sighed as I got out of the bed and dragged myself to go open the door and was actually surprised to see Sean standing there. Whenever something's going on with me, he tend to try not to bother me and let Jhen handle all of it.
"Jhen went to go find some things for us to do, so I thought I would come and give you some company." Sean smiled as he held up one wine glass and a red solo cup and a bottle of champagne in the other hand.
I chuckled as I stepped aside so he could walk past me and shut the door behind him.
"That's sweet of you. But was it you or Jhen's suggestion?" I lifted a eyebrow as I grabbed the bottle from him taking it to the bed with me.
"Maybe both." He laughed a little as he came to my bed and sat on the edge.
"Well thanks...for checking on me. I'm fine though honest." I lifted a fake smile.
"Lea, we heard you sobbing yourself to sleep last night." He admitted and I frown in embarrassment as I bit down on my bottom lip.
Blowing out some air I popped the lid making some of the champagne over spill on the floor and grabbed the glass from him pouring some in my glass and handing him the bottle.
"Did he break your heart or something?" Sean spoke up and I looked up startled that he brought it up.
"Uh...sort of. I think I broke his first though." I shrugged as I took a sip of my drink.
"Was it that guy you was running from when we checked in?" Sean asked putting the bottle down after he poured some in his cup.
"You saw that?" I sighed pushing some strings of hair behind my ear.
"Yeah. I'm not blind. I seen the way he looked at you as well. I figured y'all knew one another." He shrugged.
I licked my lips as I looked off into space my mind going straight to Ant.
He looked the same of course just a different hairstyle and he had them grills in his teeth.
My ringtone on my phone broke me out of my thoughts and I reached and grabbed seeing the face I was dreading pop up.
I stared at it not wanting to answer and I just waited until he was sent to voicemail.
"What happened?" Sean asked as he looked at my phone seeing me ignore the call.
"I left him and he's engaged now." I said before tossing the phone away from me.
"And you're mad at him?" He questioned.
I shook my head no as I looked at my nails. "No. I don't blame him for moving on. It's just..it's complicated."
"I got time." He said.
"I am mad at who he's engaged to. I hate her guts and she almost had me killed. The killing thing is he probably don't even know." I fumed as I felt my eyes tearing up.
