Leanna."Something you like?" I frowned seeing this dude just watching me up and down as I was in front of the snack isle at Walmart.
I seen him smirk as he shook his head stepping back.
"My fault."
Something felt off about him but I waved it off and went back to my shopping.
It looked like the dude was going to say something else until I seen him look above me backing off completely.
"Is you done yet?" Ant hissed from behind me making me look back and seen him chewing on some gum.
"I would if you'd stop rushing me." I exclaimed rolling my eyes as I pushed my buggy.
"A nigga tied yo." He sighed rubbing his face.
"You could've stayed at the house." I shrugged.
"Yunno that wasn't gonna happen." He scoffed as he followed me down the isle.
"Who was ole dude?"
I looked at him and shrugged. "No clue."
"You need ta watch who you talk to." Ant shook his head.
"I wasn't talking to him."
"Ya okay."
It took another 10 minutes until I was finished shopping and once I paid for my items we left and of course Ant drove us back home.
"Yunno I'm not a baby. I can do stuff myself." I looked over to him crossing my arms as we road up to a red light.
"Why do you always fuss with me about this?" He asked raising his eyebrows up at me.
"I don't."
"Yes you do. Whenever I try to help you, you fight me off." He pointed out.
"Because I can handle shit on my own."
"You see where that got you right?" He chuckled and I just looked out the window annoyed already.
"Okay." I said lowly.
.
After finishing packing everything where they were supposed to go in the kitchen I leaned against the cabinet sighing.
I seen Ant get up from the couch starting to head upstairs.
"Hey, Ant." I called after him.
He stopped and looked back at me. "Wassup?"
"I'm sorry." I blew out a breath as I kept my arms against my body.
"For?"
"Pushing you away. I'm not used to the help. Especially from a man..." I explained tucking some hair behind my ear.
"Well you have to now."
"I know. And I'll work on that. Can you just be patient with me?"
"If I weren't being patient I wouldn't still be here." He chuckled.
"Don't you remember how we used to always joke on each other back then?" I smiled a little as I started to think about high school us.
"Ya. You had a big ass forehead." He laughed.
I gasped and hit his arm. "No I didn't! Skinny ass troll."
"Now you trying to get hit." He warned.
"Who gon' hit me? Casper the ghost?" I giggled as I bucked my eyes at him.
"Goofy ass." He smacked his lips.
