I ended up agreeing to meet up with Michael, but I called Charles, Kat, and my ex Veronica. I picked them all up from their houses and we drove down to the junkyard, either awaiting my death or a friendship.

"Mikey, this is nuts!" Veronica called out as I drove down the old country road.
I rolled my eyes, "Well I have guts Veronica, and nuts too. Are they made of steel? No. Is my gut made of steel, oh YEAH. That's why I'm meeting Michael, because my gut tells me that he won't murder my scrawny ass."
Veronica wasn't one to follow other's opinions. She was a future lawyer, but she didn't have enough money to go to college. Barely even high school as a matter-of-act. But hey, she broke up with me once she heard I was dropping out of school, on the bright side I have an IQ of 204, so who's laughing now?

As I drove, Kat sat next to me in the family station wagon. It was quiet, until Charles spoke up in a tired voice.
"So... you guys mind if I smoke in here?"  he asked.
"Charles, what the hell?" Veronica asked, holding her nose as Charles pulled out his lighter. "Veronica, honey, chill," Kat said as she rolled down the window and stuck her hand out to feel the breeze.
"Kat, you're gonna lose an arm," Veronica said, as she looked out the window.
Kat looked at me annoyed and asked, "How did you date that bitch?"
"I can hear you!" Veronica shouted.
I looked in rear view mirror, and I saw Charles put a finger gun to his head, and pretended to shoot himself.
"Jesus Charles," I whispered as I laughed at his facial expression.
I rolled down the windows and let some cool night air come into the car, then it got freezing and I ended up keeping the windows shut.

Once I saw the fenced gate that led to the junkyard, I pulled over on the side of the road and said, "Alright, now these guys are very burly and could kill us with the snap of a toothpick. So let's not say or do anything stupid."
Veronica added, "Or try to start a verbal fight, Kat."
"Geez, are you on your period or something Veronica? Because you've never been this bitchy to me before," Kat said, as she fluffed out her hair.
Veronica looked to the side door and said, "I didn't want to come."
"Then why did you agree to meet up at eleven at night to go to the junkyard? Did you think Mikey was going to ask to bang you or some shit?" Charles asked in his very own, stoner voice, which he's had since high school (he smoked weed in high school, but he quit before college).
I shushed everyone with my hand, then said, "Guys just... God, just don't do what these guys do and you'll live. I guess?"
Everyone groaned as we got out of the car in the freezing cold weather. It wasn't long until we saw the headlights of one of Michael's friends motor bikes.

Once we got to the gate, I saw a large mass of guys around our age our older. But I didn't see Michael. Was he a no show?"
As we walked up to the group, I heard P.J.'s voice call out, "Aye guys! Look, it's Mikey and his gang of high school dropouts!"
They all laughed obnoxiously at us as we walked up to them.
"Where the fuck is Michael?" I asked, as I stood near a large bonfire with my arms crossed because of the cold.
"He had to drop off a friend back at our place," Jasper announced, as he drank what smelled like white wine from a flask.
"Great, you dragged us out here in the middle of the night just to see your "lady caller" and he doesn't show up!" Veronica complained as she threw her hands in the air.
Once Kat walked in front of Veronica in a "Bitch please," way, Jasper and P.J. started eyeing the two head to toe.
"Aye uh, Mikey... who're the ladies?" Jasper asked, eyeing Kat like she was a Play Boy magazine. Charles rolled his eyes as he let his cigarette hang from his lip, mumbling, "Christ almighty." "Hey ladies, you two still single?" P.J. asked, putting an arm around Veronica.
Kat slapped P.J. once he tried to grope Veronica's ass, then P.J. tried to fight back, but since Kat had brought her pocket knife with her, P.J. backed off.
"Damn, she's a feisty one," Jasper said, as he continued to examine the two girls.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Alright guys, the show's over, also when will Michael get here?" "Soon, probably," Jasper said, as he ran his fingers through his slicked back hair.
