The sea of goop flooded the room.Betty rose from it beside Cory."Nice job,"She said.Cory slashed at her.Betty retreated into the goop and rose on his other side."How's it feel? Having two battling souls?"She said."You wouldn't know the half of it,"Cory's voice cracked.Betty turned her head just enough to see me.Cory did too,and he looked horrible.He was sweating,and tears were coming down his flashing eyes.His eyes were bloodshot,and black goo was coming from his eye.Betty looked back at Cory and nodded vertically.Cory caught her eye and nodded horizontally."Cory,what are you doing?"I hollered angrily at him.Why wasn't he fighting or killing Betty? "Didn't you know? I wasn't just going to let him be alive!"Betty laughed,"Its not him! It's a mere memory that mimics him!
