Give me light, I cannot see down this broken path. ••• Ricky ••• Snowflakes begin hitting my cheeks like a fresh rain. Sticks and dry leaves crunch underneath my boots has I walk through the vast landscape. The surroundings look almost familiar like I'd been here before... Suddenly a light amount of a childs laughter begins to waft through the air. Chills run down my spine has I turn around to see a very small boy. He wore pajamas and a bloodied face. It was has if someone had punched him in the face, I knew this wasn't that type of case though. I could smell his blood it wasn't human.
"Ricky!" A voice called out I turned around to look for the voice. Nobody seemed to be there had I imagined it? "Richard Olson!" The same voice yelled out again, I couldn't be imagining it. A teenage girl with flowing red locks ran from the looping trees. "Ricky! Stop mom will kill us!" The girl ran faster and caught the little boy barely catching him by a shoulder.
"Sami I wanna go!" Sami... that name sounded so familiar. The redheaded girl picked up the little black haired boy, placing him firmly on her hips she began to walk faster. Almost like she felt as though she was being hunted... I heard her heart beat suddenly change. Each thump it only seemed to change its rhythm to a faster pace. Sami... Sam, Samantha the red head was my sister. That only meant one thing something obvious I was the little boy.
The scene suddenly made sense "Sam!" I yelled out but she didn't turn around. Her footsteps only fastened with each heartbeat. Sam couldn't hear me, neither could little me. What was this? The creature stepped out of the trees so suddenly Sam dropped to the ground. Ricky or past me fell with her clutching his sisters side tightly. My human sister pushes me away from her "Go Ricky! Get home please for me!" The creature grabbed her by her red locks and began to drag her away from where she'd fallen.
"Sami!" I yelled out for my sister trying to reach for her. My fingers passed through her body like a hot knife to butter. I couldn't do anything but watch her die. The creature barred its sharp teeth at my sister has he drug her away into its cavern.
"Please... Don't kill me." She sobbed I'd heard that line before it never works when your hungry. She didn't have time to say anything else when the monster starting draining her blood. Her screams stopped within four total minutes my sister was gone. The vampire dropped her frail body onto its rocky floor. Sam's throat was completely in shreds the result of a new born vampire. The vampire began to drag my sister off into a watery grave. She'd be found weeks later 5o miles away from the forest I'd run into....

... To kinda clear up the chapter so your not confused Ricky is in a dreamland state. Kinda like the one Rayeleigh was in the beginning of the book. (Only because he's had major bloodless) also kinda a filler since I haven't updated in forever
