Chapter 11 - "All Alone"

Baekhyun felt cold. He felt alone. After just finding home, he was alone again. Baekhyun opened his eyes to find darkness again, but this time it was cold. This wasn't space, this was a black room filled with hate and darkness.

Baekhyun tried to move but the darkness seemed too heavy, it was holding him down. He struggled,  using all of his energy to move. Slowly, he took a spet forward.

"How dare you be happy Baekhyun." Said a voice, cold and unfeeling. Baekhyun spun around, trying to see who was speeking but it was just black.

"You were sworn to a life of loneliness yet you have been found and loved." The voice continued, it seemed to be getting louder. Baekhyun felt scared, not knowing what the voice was talking about.

"I pushed you from the sky yet you come crawling back, how dare you" Baekhyun started to shake, scared of what was going on.

"You were never meant to be happy, I will pull you away from the one you love, I will hurt the one you love because you hurt me." The voice almost yelled in Baekhyun's ear. Baekhyun clamped his hands over his ears, shaking, crying wishing for the voice to go away. In all the pain, a single word escaped Baekhyun's lips.

"Chanyeol."

Light broke through the curtain  waking Baekhyun from his nightmare. He was breathing heavily and still shaking. Afraid to open his eyes, Baekhyun pulled himself further into the bed. He wriggled slightly and found a pair of strong arms around him, Baekhyun opened his eyes slightly to find himself looking at the sleeping face of Chanyeol.

Just his presence calmed Baekhyun beating heart, a small smile came on his face knowing he was safe. Baekhyun snuggled closer to Chanyeol's chest, not wanting to let go. He closed his eyes again but as he did, the words of the dream came back to him.

"I will pull you away from the one you love, I will hurt the one you love " Baekhyun pulled himself  closer onto Chanyeol, now scared of loosing him.

"Don't leave me Chanyeol, I don't want to be alone, I will protect you if you just stay with me" whispered Baekhyun feeling sleep wash over him again.

"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" Screamed the alarm. Chanyeol groaned, reaching in the vauge direction of the alarm clock. He finally smashed down on the clock, stopping the annoying noise, and quickly retreated back into the covers. Chanyeol quickly wrapped his arms back around Baekhyun, as the smaller wriggled in his arms.

"Mmmm I don't want to get up" mumbled Baekhyun, still wriggling around in Chanyeol's grip.

"But I have to go to school" Chanyeol mumbled in reply.

"Oh shit! School!" Yelled Chanyeol, dashing out of bed, leaving Baekhyun very confused. Baekhyun watched as Chanyeol dashed around the apartment, grabbing various items that had been scattered across the room. After about 5 minutes, Chanyeol was at the front door pulling on his shoes whike checking his phone.

"Um, where are you going?" Baekhyun asked quietly.

"I'm going to school, ah sorry that means your gonna have to stay here by yourself. Well, there is food in the fridge and you can watch some TV. I'll be back around 4" Chanyeol said,  hurriedly before rushing out the door, once again leaving Baekhyun alone.

This was one of the longest day Chanyeol had ever had to sit through. All of his classes were boring but all Chanyeol could think about was Baekhyun. He felt bad leaving him all alone and not being able to say goodbye properly.

As Chanyeol made his was to the cafeteria, he walked with his head low, feeling bad about leaving Baekhyun alone. All the girls around him whispered as he went by. Because he was in such a rush this morning, he had serious bed hair and his clothes were all messy but apparently that was counted as 'sexy'.

"And today, sporting the sexy bed head look is Chanyeol" teased Kai as Chanyeol sat down for lunch.

"Where's star boy?" asked Sehun.

"I had to leave him at home, but I feel really bad about it" Chanyeol replied, starting to eat.

"Well, it would be a bit werid if he just turned at school unannounced saying 'Hey, I'm a new student here'" said Kai.

"We could always hack the system to say Baekhyun is a new student" said Sehun. The other two looked at him

"But none of us know how to hack" said Chanyeol.

"I picked up the skill some time ago, just haven't had the chance to use it" said Sehun casually. The other two stared at him in disbelief.

"Since when did you know how to hack?" said Kai in complete shock.

"You'll be suprised on what I know" replied Sehun, winking at the group.
