Chapter - 13 "First Day"

Soon enough a week had pasted and Baekhyun was standing nervously outside the school. He held the hem of Chanyeol's shirt, scared of being left behind. Chanyeol smiled down at the smaller and ruffled his hair.

"Don't worry Baekhyun, you're gonna be fine" chanyeol said looking at the school ahead. Baekhyun nodded nervously and let go of Chanyeol's shirt.

"lets go" Chanyeol said placing a hand on Baekhyun's shoulders and giving him a small push. Baekhyun gulped and stepped forward into the school grounds. Baekhyun walked slowly towards the school, taking in all his surroundings. As they walked eyes followed them a they went and a whisper rustled through the students. Baekhyun moved slightly behind Chanyeol not liking all the attention. Chanyeol smiled slightly at the moved and headed towards Kai and Sehun.

"What up guys" Sehun said giving them a small way. Baekhyun replied with a nervous smile.

"don't look so nervous you're gonna be fine" Kai said patting Baekhyun on the shoulder. The group then started walking towards the school chatting about what they did at the weekend. Baekhyun stayed quiet ,not wanting to overstay his welcome, and looked around at all the students. Eyes still followed them as they went but this time is wasn't all on Baekhyun. As the walked girls giggled and waved at Kai and people made room for them in the corridor.

Baekhyun never really asked Chanyeol about his school life, never thinking the topic was that important, but it was clear to see from people reactions that they must be pretty popular.

"We're here," Chanyeol said as the group stopped outside the teachers office. "Go in an tell the teachers your name and that you're new here." Baekhyun nodded and stepped forward into the room. Just before the door closed behind him Baekhyun glanced over his shoulder for one last look at Chanyeol. He knew that they probably would be in the same class but being away from Chanyeol, even for a second, left a hole in his heart.

"Byun Baekhyun?" a voice asked. Baekhyun turned around to see a teacher smiling in front of him. He had long black hair falling to his jaw line and a friendly expression. Baekhyun nodded in reply and followed the teacher over to his desk.

"I'm Kim Heechul and i will be your home room teacher from now on," Heechul said. Baekhyun nodded along to what he was saying. "Here is you timetable and if you have any questions just ask me." Heechul stood up followed by Baekhyun.

"I hope you enjoy your time here Mr Byun" Heechul said leading the way to the classroom. When they arrived the class was noisy. Everyone was in group talking to their friends, so when the teacher came in they barely noticed.

"All right everyone, settle down" Heechul called grabing the attention of the class. All students slowly moved back to theif desks whispering and pointing at Baekhyun.

"As everyone can see we have a new student with us today," Heechul contiued "This Byun Baekhyun and he will be with us from now on." The class gave a half hearted round of applause not really listen.

Baekhyun quickly looked around the class and amedatly found the gaint. He was sitting at the back with Kai and Sehun with a big grin on his face. The sight made Baekhyun smile backand relax knowing he had a friend in the class.

"Mr Byun why don't you go sit next to Mr Do there" Heechul pointed at the small owl faced boy who was faving. Baekhyun nodded and made his way over to the seat and sat down.

"Hi i'm Kyungsoo" The boy said offering his hand. Baekhyun took it quickly and smile

"I'm Baekhyun" he replied and Kyungsoo smiled. After a moment Baekhyun felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Chanyeols grinning face. Baekhyun's heart skipped a beat just looking at the gaint and could help but smile back again.

"Hey" Chanyeol whispered leaning forwards on his desk.

"Hi" Baekhyun whispered back, leaning on the back of his chair. Their faces we're inches apart and nether could stop smiling.

"Good luck we're in the same class" Chanyeol whispered. Baekhyun nodded studying the tallers face. The pair fell silent and just stared at each other feeling their heart beat quicken by just looking at the other.

Baekhyun felt an elbow and took that as a sign to quickly turn around again. Kyungsoo raised an eyebrow at Bakehyun making him blush.

"You know Chanyeol then" Kyungsoo said reading through his notes.

"We've meet a couple of time" Baekhyun mumbled. Kyungsoo chuckled at him.

"Well i hope we can be friends as well" Kyungsoo said looking down at his hands as he did. A smile came over Baekhyuns face as he looked at the owl faced boy.

"I would love to be friends" Baekhyun replied still smiling like an idiot. Kyungsoo looked up at him eyes sparkling. Both of them were grinning like idiots but didn't really care.

I've made my first friend by myself Baekhyun thought i think i might enjoy school.
