Chapter 15 - "Boyfriend"

Time seemed to fly by for Chanyeol and before he knew it, the last bell of the week was ringing. The students stood up around him, packing their things away ready go home. Chanyeol looked across the room to see Baekhyun standing up. He chatting was lightly with Kyungsoo, with a small smile on his face. The light seemed to bounce of his skin, making him glow. His eyes sparkled with curiosity and wonder.

Chanyeol watched the scene with a smile on his face, he had only know Baekhyun for just over a couple weeks yet he had made such an impact on his life. Since Baekhyun appeared, he found himself smiling, laughing more and feeling less lonely. He no longer came home to an empty apartment, he came home a room filled with laughter and happiness. For once it felt like home.

"Chanyeol" the tall boy looked up to see Baekhyun smiling in front of him. A broad grin spread across Chanyeol's face as he stood up to greet the smaller.

"Hey" Chanyeol replied, packing up his things. Baekhyun smiled lightly and waited for the taller to finish.

"How was your day" Chanyeol said as they made their way down the hallway.

"It was alright, i guess" Baekhyun mumbled looking at his feet.

"What's wrong" Chanyeol asked, moving closer to the smaller. Baekhyun let out a big sigh as they left school building and started on their walk home.

"Just know Kyungsoo was talking about his family, and how they always spend holidays together and... i just felt different"

"What do you mean?" Chanyeol asked. Baekhyun sighed again and looked up to the sky. The sun was setting across the city, once again sending reds and pinks sprawling across the sky. An autumn breeze past through the city causing the pair to shiver. Baekhyun pulled chanyeol into a hug, burying himself into his chest.

"I just feel out of place" Baekhyun mumbled into Chanyeol's chest. The taller let out a sigh and wrapped his arms around the sliver haired. He ran his hands up and down his back comforting the smaller.

"Don't worry, you're right where you belong" Chanyeol replied. Baekhyun smiled and squeezed Chanyeol in response. "Come on, I'm cold" Baekhyun nodded and the pair continued on there way home.

"What do you wanna do?" Chanyeol asked, falling next to Baekhyun on the sofa. The smaller just hummed and lay his legs across Chanyeol's lap.

"Just watch some TV" Baekhyun said. He pulled the jumper he was wearing further up around his neck. Chanyeol sighed and turned on the TV on. Baekhyun had been in a mood ever since they had got home. It seems that Baekhyun's talk with Kyungsoo really got him.

"Let's watch a drama then" Chanyeol said surfing through dramas. Baekhyun wasn't really listening, he was busy pulling at the threads of his sweater.

"Here we go" Chanyeol mumbled. Baekhyun looked up at the screen and frowned.

"Goblin?"

"Yeh! It's this really great drama that i'll think you'll like" Chanyeol said enthusiastically. Baekhyun just nodded and rested his head on Chanyeol's shoulder. The drama started and Baekhyun was instantly hooked. He watched, almost in shock, as the story played before him.

Chanyeol smiled as he saw Baekhyun getting into the drama. He had a feeling the angle would like it. It was a classic love story about an immortal god trying to find his bride so that he can no longer be immortal. Chanyeol watched as Baekhyun face changed with every scene. His face seemed to fill with joy, but then drain to panic to be replaced with sadness.

As the drama continued Baekhyun relaxed and leaned back into Chanyeol's chest. Every now and then he would giggle or let out a gasp at the TV. The taller chuckled every time he did. Soon the boyfriend scene play on the TV, Baekhyun watched with eyebrows furrowed. 

"Chanyeol?" Baekhyun asked, peering up into the taller's face. 

"Hmm" 

"What's a boyfriend?"

Chanyeol choked on air. Baekhyun stared at him with confusion all over his face. A red blush spread across the taller's face. 

"um... errr.....umm" Chanyeol stuttered looking for a suitable answer.  Baekhyun sat up straight and stared Chanyeol in the eyes. The taller's blush deepened as he looked everywhere but the sliver haired boy. 

"What is a boyfriend and why does she want one so bad" Baekhyun was now staring hard at the flustered giant. 

"W-well a boyfriend is a b-boy who...who you spent a lot of time with" Chanyeol stuttered. Baekhyun tilted his head to one side. 

"Like you?" 

"No!" Chanyeol said a little to quickly.  Baekhyun tilted his head further to side and furrowed his eyebrows. Chanyeol looked around trying to think of an explanation. 

"A boyfriend is a guy...who...who you care about a lot and want to spend the rest of your life with" Baekhyun nodded and turned back top the TV. Chanyeol let out a sigh of relief now that the questioning was over. The taller placed an arm around the sliver haired boy, letting him snuggle close into his chest. 

As the evening continue Baekhyun thought hard about what Chanyeol said. It was bothering him and he didn't know why. 

He cared about him a lot right? 

he wanted to spend the rest of his life with him right? 

Does that mean Chanyeol is his boyfriend?
