Chapter 2 - "Meteor shower"

They all sat together by the window of the bubble tea shop. All sitting there drinking there teas and thinking. Behind them sat a group of girls, they were giggly and annoying and keep pulling Chanyeol out of his thoughts. 

"Yah Chan, you look like your about to burst a blood vestal." said Sehun sniggering slightly

" I will if those girls don't shut up, don't they see that there are other people in here too." Said Chanyeol angrily. He sighed loudly and went back to staring out the window, watching the world go by. The sun was setting over the city lighting the sky with oranges and pinks. Chanyeol liked watching the sunsets it set his mind at ease. Just then one of the girls behind them let out a massive squeal like a pig and chanyeol broke. 

"YAH," he yelled at the girls," I understand that you are fangirling over some shitty Fan fiction but there are other people in here who don't care to know!" The girls looked at him slightly shook but did as he said and quieten down. With successfully silencing the girls he sat down in triumph. 

"Wow Chan, i'm impressed you made it thought that without your voice breaking." teased Kai 

"Yeh, i think you now have a singular muscle cell" continued Sehun giggling at his joke

"What such supportive friends I have" chanyeol replied sarcastically. Just then the TV chirped up, now they could actually hear it now the girls had shut up. All three of them look over to what it was saying.

"Get yourselves ready folks cause in a couple nights time the will the legendary Zodiac meteor shower passing over Seoul. The last time this shower was seen was over 1000 years ago so grab your loved ones its gonna be beautiful." the presenter finished what he was saying to show us to pictures of shoot stars across the screen. 

"Hey that showers passing over on Saturday night how about we camp out on the roof to watch the shower." suggested chanyeol. 

"Well didn't you hear what the man said its gonna be highly  romantic won't it be a bit weird to spend it with a bunch of guys?" stated Kai 

"Well you can invite all 45 of your girlfriend to watch it with then" retorted Chanyeol 

"Yah you heard what the man said this is gonna be a very special occasion and we should share it with the people you love" said Sehun, batting his eyelashes at his two friend who instantly pretended to puck.  

"YAH" yelled Sehun at his two friends now laughing at him. 

"Ok, ok," said Chanyeol still chuckling," On Saturday night we shall set up a den on the roof of our building and watch the meteor shower." They both nodded in agreement

"On the condition that doing this won't make me falling love with any of you." said Kai sternly

"Can't promise anything" replied Sehun winking at Kai who instantly tried to strangle him. They all laughed and stood up ready to leave. It seemed the worries of earlier today were a distant memory.

It was all the same. The same bright light, same song, same sunset and same person. Chanyeol moved forward as he always did step after step towards the person. His hand was inches away from the person but they weren't moving away. Chanyeol stop, something was different. everything seamed the same yet different. The person finished their tune and for once this world was filled with silence. 

The person walked forward toward the sea, looking out over the beautiful view. Chanyeol followed them to the edge absorbing the view. The person opened their mouth to say something but just like that a strong wind blew across the cliff causing the person to lose their balance, as if there was someone behind they and pushed the off the cliff. And they fell down, not into water but into blackness. A pit of never ending darkness. Chanyeol reach out his hand to try and save them...  

but it was too late. A feeling of falling came into his stomach and he was surrounded by blackness. He couldn't see anything Nothing but Darkness around him.

"NO!!!!" he yelled, sitting up suddenly in bed reaching for the person he could no longer see. pain and loss filled his heart like had just lost his closest friend. Tear ran down his face falling on to the bed sheets below. His hands shook with sadness as he pulled them into himself.  

He garbed a issue and hurriedly wiped his face but the picture was still vivid in his mind. he had never seen the person fall before. it stayed bright in his mind hurting him more.  

Toben walked up to his bed wagging his tale wandering what was causing his master so much stress. Just the sight of his precious puppy eased his heart. He picked up the puppy and help him close. Toben wriggled and started licking Chanyeol's face, helping clean up the marks the tears had made. 

"Promise you will never leave me Toben" said Chanyeol in shaky voice. Toben replied with a small bark and a wag of his tail which chanyeol knew meant yes.
