Chapter 4 - "Snowflakes and Stars"

The bell rang for the end of the day freeing them to the weekend. Kai was still mad at them for covering him in water but Chanyeol and Sehun were proud of their mischief.

"All plans for Saturday still in place" asked Sehun. They all nodded in agreement. 

"Yeh" said Chanyeol,"I have a load of blankets  we can use" 

"Great and i think i still have my old telescope we can use if we need to" Stated Sehun as they walked out the school gates. 

A group of girls hanging around the exit saw Kai and started giggling. After him storming into the class room basically half naked he had become the talk of the school. if most of the girls didn't like him  already they did now, for pictures and rumours of his perfect body had spread through the school like wild fire.  

"i hate you guys so much" said Kai glaring at the girls just making them giggle more. 

"you'll thank us one day" said Chanyeol knowing that his mischief went to a good cause. he looked his phone to check the time. his lock screen was a picture of him and Toben as much as he loved his dog he was really saving his background for the person he wanted to spend his life.

A text appered form him dog walker. "Hay sorry i can't walk Toben today i have some work to" Chanyeol sighed, he wanted to stay out with his friends but a quite night in watch dramas wouldn't be that bad. 

"Sorry guys i gotta go, my dog walker just cancelled and i need to walk Toben see you guys tomorrow." Chanyeol said and waved to his friends and headed home.

The sun was setting across the city again. the park was quite empty so chanyeol walked Toben in peace. the sky was a beautiful orangie pink and leaved a nice warm felling in side him. He sighed wishing he could share this moment with someone special. Chanyeols parents spent mos of their time over seas leaving him alone for most of his life, the only contact from his parents were the odd text or a phone call. He hadn't seen the in so long he got lonely, one reason he got Toben so he could come home to someone, to make his house feel less empty.    

Toben started barking at something and chanyeol looked up. There was no one around them, what was he barking at. Just then Chanyeol felt something land genterly on his he, he looked up to see snowfalkes. Small delicate little snowflakes falling from the sky, Chanyeol understood now why Toben was barking. he had never seen snow before. with the darken sky the light cought the falkes making them look like stars shinning all around him. Chanyeol stoped and looked around, taking the moment of beauty. He loved snow, it looked so beautiful. 

He watched as the world around him as his world slowly turned whit e and yet he didn't feel cold, instead he felt warmth in his heart a deep love for something he didn't know yet. Chanyeol looked up to the sky to see the first star out in the sky.  although the star was small it seamed to fill the sky with light. Chanyeol smiled at the star, it made him think that star was eger to see the world so was out first to look at the world below. Toben run back to him waging his tail at the snow around him, the giant bent down to his little puppy who was so excited at the whole situation. 

"Come on then lets go home" said Chanyeol picking up Toben's lead and heading back home but he walked slower this time enjoying the world around him.

Chanyeol sat up in his bed covered in cold sweat. He was breathing heavily, his mind was spinning. He had the dream again. The same cliff, the same sun, the same person and the same falling feeling. 

he checked his clock to see it what time it was "3 am" read the clock. chanyeol fell back onto his pillows just staring up at the blank ceiling above him. His room was still dark with the light from the street light creeping through the crack in his curtants. He couldn't get back to sleep so he ust stared up at thinking what could his dream mean. He had been to many places about, but they all said the same  stuff like but chanyeol never felt that it was right. 

He sighed and looked across at his little puppy sleeping soundly in his bed not trouble by dreams. Chanyeol watched for a couple minutes looking at his chest go up and down in a steady rythem.

He picked up his phone looking through all of his social media they were all saying about the meteor shower tonight, he sighed and got up and started getting ready for the day ahead of him.
