"Shh, it's just me"

I looked up meeting eyes with Grayson as he released me from his grip. I went to say something but he stopped me.

"Stay still, and stay quiet"

I could see the worry on his face as he pushed me behind him into the bushes more. I had no idea what was going on until the multiple heart beats rang through my ears as they got closer and closer.

I could hear footsteps just feet away and I began to dig my nails and panic.  They weren't just any heart beats.

They were human heartbeats.

I went to step further back into the Bush but my foot slipped and I screamed as I felt myself flip multiple times down a hill.

I groaned as I finally stopped and I couldn't feel my legs. I looked down realizing they were both broken.

Before I could speak or even realize what just happend I heard a faint click behind me and I looked back seeing multiple men pointing guns towards me.

My eyes went wide and I could hear there familar heart beats and I knew they weren't here to help me.

They were here to hunt and kill me.

My head started to spin and the feeling in my legs started to come back and I realized I was healing.

I stumbled my way up as I met eyes with there's and a smirk grew on there faces.

"She's one of them" they yelled as they all started to come towards me. I didn't really know what to do so I ran towards the opposite direction I fell from.

My legs ran faster than my head could process what was happening. I felt that familair touch reach out and grab me as he pulled me into his chest and slung me against the tree.

I looked up meeting his eyes and all of my fear and worry went away as they turned there beautiful red color and the viens around his eyes popped out.

"Stay here" he says and the tone in his voice sent shivers down my spine as i felt his touch disappear from mine and he vanished towards the hunters.

He wasn't afraid of them not one bit, after all he is the Alpha.

I could hear his deep growl followed by several screams making me dig my nails even deeper.

I wasn't scared I was nervous and anxious and I hated that I let him go out there alone.

I heard footsteps getting closer and closer to me but I could smell him as he approached me and his eyes were back to normal.

"Why did you run the opposite way roman"

I looked down seeing his hands covered in blood as clawls latched to his large hands.

"I didn't want to lead them towards everyone else"

I looked up meeting his beautiful Hazel eyes with mine as his face softened and he reached down picking me up bridal style making me blush.

"Let's get you home"
