The rain was falling softly as it landed on my skin.
I loved the rain, the sound, the smell, it just calms you and takes you into another world of freedom, makes you feel so at ease and relaxed.
I could hear the rain hitting the leaves on the trees making it echoe through the woods. It was a beautiful day, the wind blew perfectly and the sun was bright enough to capture everything. The forest itself was beautiful.
"Your mom knew who i was before i came, she invited me, why would she have you out me in front of everyone"
He turned around letting his wet hair fall in his face as little water driplets fell down his leather jacket and the suns reflection beaming through his Hazel eyes.
" back in her day Hell hounds were a myth, no one had ever seen one, until your great grandfather showed himself to the whole town after hunters killed your grand mother. My grandmother tried to bring her back to life but she was gone, after that your family fled town and were never heard of since, my mom was a young girl when it all happened and when she heard about you coming back to town she insisted on getting to know you, to see what hell hounds were capable of, so she made us fight you"
He seemed to know a lot about me and it seemed a little unfair. I couldn't wrap my head around it, my dad told me my grandparents died in a car accident. I felt like i didn't even know myself or my family anymore.
"What do you mean capable of?"
He stopped walking as he turned around meeting eyes with mine as he studied my face. He had such a way with his eyes and it felt like he was seeing straight through me.
"There's so much you don't know about yourself Roman, your a gateway to hell, a demon" he says as he turned back around and continued to walk making sticks and leaves break under him with every step he took.
I never understood why everyone kept keeping things from me. Why everyone else knew who i was except for me.
"You are a bearer of Death, the guardian of the entrance to the world of the dead, you also look for lost souls and protect other supernaturals, one day it will take over you and you have to be strong enough to control it, if not you will kill anyone or anything that gets in your way" he continues
I wanted to ask so many questions but another part of me didn't want to hear anymore. I already feared myself. He seemed to know so much and still saw me as me.
"If I'm all these bad things you say, why are you not afraid of me?"
He stopped as he looked down letting out a deep breath as his eyes met mine taking my breath away like they always do.
"I don't fear anyone Roman, and I know who you are, the real you, not the curse you were born with"
He walked closer to me as he reached out intertwining our fingers together. He pulled me next to him and my eyes went wide as we stood on the edge of a Cliff over looking the most beautiful waterfall iv ever seen.
The rocks were huge as the water flowed between them, the beautiful flowers and different trees surrounding it making it look like a tropical island and the water crystal blue.
It was breath taking. Just like him.
