"So why didnt you want me to walk over at breakfast" I asked as I twisted my way out of his grip and started to punch the bag again.

He stood straight up as he walked over taking his jacket off and throwing it to the ground as he began punching another bag.

"I don't want my mom to know about you, she's already obsessed about your abilities and I don't want her trying to make me do things I don't want to, like the fight"

He began to punch harder and harder as Sweat ran down his forehead. I could tell his mother was a very touchy subject for him, I'm not sure why, meeting her for the first time she seemed so nice and welcoming.

I don't understand why she wants to know so much about me, iv never kept it a secret, I just didn't tell anyone.

"She was willing to kill her own son just to see me turn? Wow"

I walked over leaning against the wall as I wiped the sweat off my forehead and watched him. His muscle flexing through his tight shirt as his body started to get dewy.

"Look roman, my mom is nothing I want to mess with, she does evil things and she likes to involve us, she calls it her way of knowing that were not weak so I'm obligated to do whatever she says, but I refuse to let her hurt you again, in anyway, Ethan will do anything to get the upper hand, but as the Alpha she makes me do the tough stuff, and trust me it's nothing I want to do"

I nodded as he gave me a small smile and hit the bag one more time.

I don't get it. Theo said Lisa welcomed me, but why is she acting like she doesn't know who I am, she knew about me before I even knew. She was so sweet and Comforting the first time I met her, but Grayson knows her better than anyone and I trust him.

The sirens started to go off again and I knew everyone would be heading this way soon so I packed up my things.

I looked up seeing Grayson put his jacket back on as he fixed him self. I swear he was the most beautiful thing in the world.

People started to flood in and me and Grayson went our own way. We didn't really want anyone to know anything about us yet, even tho we haven't really talked about what we were but no matte what it was, for right now it was our little secret.

The room went silent as the familair sound of hills clicked on the floor with each step she took and soon her face appeared out of the dark tunnels as she entered the room.

Everyone stayed quit as she made her way over to the twins, I wasn't sure why she was in here because usually she never comes, she's barley in the volt.

"I'm here to watch some of you prove yourself, first up, michy and Roman" she says as evil was laced with her words.

I looked over at Grayson and he had this unexplainable look on his face as he looked at her with his dark eyes. I could tell he didn't agree with this but I had no choice. She wanted to learn more about me, she wanted to torture it out of me because she knows michy is more trained.

I made my way to the cage but I felt a tight grip around my wrist and I looked up meeting Grayson's eyes.

"Romans not fighting any one, she's not ready, pick someone else" he spits at his mother as her face fell with disgrace.

Grayson pulled me behind him as his brother and mother walked closer to me. He stood in front of me as if he was protecting me from them making my heart melt.

He said he wouldn't let them hurt me again, and he meant it.

"Excuse me, I am your mother Grayson, I make the rules, now let her go" she says as she got closer but Grayson stood his ground.

His eyes turned red as they met hers making her step back as a worried looked appeared on her face.

"And I'm the Alpha, this is my pack, so I make the rules and I said she's not ready" he spit back.

Her eyes went back and forth to ours before she shrugged it off and walked out with Ethan following behind.

I wasn't sure why she wanted me to fight so much but I trust Grayson and I trust that he will protect me, even from the ones he loves.
