I could hear there footsteps getting closer and closer making my heart speed up. There was atleast 20 to 30 of them and I knew me and Grayson couldn't take them all.

There steps seemed to distance from us giving us time to run so we took it. I ran as fast as I possibly could. I was so wore out but my adrenaline kicked in and I couldn't control it. I knew Grayson was right behind me I could hear him, making me run even faster.

I let out a scream as gunshots started to go off and I no longer felt him beside me. I immediately stopped in my tracks and turned around seeing him face down on the ground crying out in pain.

I couldn't move anymore. It's like my entire world just stopped and everything started to flash before my eyes.

I snapped out of it as I ran over to him ripping a piece of his pants to apply pressure against his wound. I was going so fast doing things I had no idea I even knew it was just like a reflex for me.

"Roman look, your gonna have to go, run, there's to many they will kill you"

Sweat was running down his forehead as he gasped for air. There was no way i was leaving him.

My head snatched towards the footsteps running towards me so fast and before I knew it there ethan stood. I immediately felt weight lift off my shoulders when i saw him.

"How did you find us" I said as I applied more pressure on Grayson. I was so terrified to lose him. I couldn't lose him and this was all my fault. If I wouldn't have ran away no one would be here right now.

"I followed Grayson, you think I'm gonna let my two bestfriends be in these woods alone?"

He Bent down checking Grayson out, I could see the worry on his face as we heard loud voices and more gunshots going off in the distance knowing they were coming for us.

"Take him ethan, he won't make it if we don't go now"

His head snatched towards me as he looked at me confused. I wasn't going to allow any more pain or danger to either of them. I love them both so much and I don't know what I would do without them, and they've done so much for me.

"No no, you are going with us, we can make it Roman" he says panicking but  I wasn't changing my mind.

I looked down at Grayson seeing the color of his skin fade into a pale and his lips turn blue. He was dieing. All because of me.

I Bent down laying a kiss on his lips as I spoke I love you softly in his ear.

"Ethan don't argue with me on this, take him NOW, and tell him when he wakes up that I love him more than I love myself and I will always protect him, please ethan go"

There was a moment of silence as we exchanged looks but I wasn't changing my mind. I knew what I had to do to protect them.

And I'm ready to do what ever it takes.
