“Sa tingin ko may sore eyes na ko before the day ends.” Dani whispered to her Ate Bea who's beside her.
Bea's walking Dani to her class. It's the first time and she couldn't refuse her of course. The younger one knows how to hypnotized a human.
“Grabe ka. Mas malala ka pa sakin eh.” she commented.
Fun fact about Bea, she doesn't like Valentines but she doesn't hate it as well. She just don't like seeing couples being all sweet and touchy. Not when she could see them at least.
“Totoo naman eh. Look nga oh, I could see flowers, balloons, chocolates, couples wearing couple shirts everywhere I look. Nakakapikon kaya.” the small one said almost rolling her eyes.
“At least no one's making out in the hall way.” Bea shrugged.
Dani looked at Bea with wide eyes. “Ate!”
Bea laughed at Dani's reaction. She knew she would react this way.
“What?” she innocently asked while chuckling.
“Lower down your voice. Baka maoffend yung ibang couples.” Dani.
“Who cares.” bea sighed. “Eh sila nga walang pakialam sa nararamdaman ng mga single eh.” she added that made Dani laughed.
“May plano ka ba ngayong araw Ate?” Dani.
Bea thought about her question for a minute before giving her an answer.
“Nope. Why?” Bea.
“Bakit? Wala ka bang ka-date?” Dani.
Bea chuckled. “Not exactly. Hindi lang siguro talaga ako romantic na tao and I would prefer to lay on my bed while reading books. Pero that's given na din. Hahaha.”
“Eh what about Kuya Thirds?”
Bea couldn't give Dani an immediate answer, it took her a while before she could even speak again.
“I-I don't think your Kuya's planning to do something romantic today.”
“Ah oo nga. Wala nga talagang balak yun.” Dani agreed that made Bea wondered why.
“You also think so? B-bakit naman?” she tried to act like she's just curious and that she doesn't have any other motives.
“He's sick last night until now. Kaya I'm sure he won't even leave his bed for the whole day.” Dani.
Bea couldn't believe what Dani told her. She didn't know he was sick.
“May sakit si Thirdy?” Bea.
“Yep. Hindi ka ba niya tinext?” Dani.
Bea immediately took her phone out from her pocket. But she was disappointed when she saw nothing from him.
“Hindi eh.”
So that explains why he didn't came to their first class earlier, why Dani asked her to accompany her to her class, because Thirdy didn't go to school. Because he's sick.
“Can't blame him though. Hindi na nga siya makatayo halos kagabi eh.” Dani.
Bea started to feel worried for him. She started wondering if he's okay, if he have eaten, or if he's lonely.
