"Hi. Where are you?"
Bungad sakin ni Thirds pagkasagot ko ng tawag niya.
"Sa bahay. Why?"
Katatapos ko lang maligo at nasaktuhan kong tumutunog yung phone ko paglabas ko.
Binuksan ko ang closet ko and i scanned the black and white section of my clothes.
"ML tayo." may panghahamon niyang sagot.
Napatawa ako sa sinabi niya. Kumuha ako ng white shirt na may printed na basic sa gitna ng shirt.
"1v1?" tanong ko ulit.
Niloud speaker ko ang phone ko at hinagis ito sa kama. Sinuot ko ang shirt at humanap naman ng cotton short. I stan comfy outfits for summer.
"Sure. Basta walang Adlous ha." sagot niya.
Napangisi ako. "Bakit parang natatakot ka na agad?" pang aasar ko sa kanya as i flopped down on my bed.
"You wish." I heard him laugh on the other line.
I bit my lower lip to stop my self from smiling, but i failed to do so.
After a few minutes, I was lying on my bed when i heard the door bell rang. Napatayo agad ako at dali daling lumabas ng kwarto.
I don't even know why i'm in a hurry. Ramdam ko ang mabilis at malakas na tibok ng puso ko. Hindi ko alam kung kinakabahan ako o ano eh. Teka, bakit naman ako kakabahan?
I think i'm going nuts.
Bumungad sakin ang matamis na ngiti ni Thirdy. Mabilis ko namang kinagat ang balat sa loob ng bibig ko. I just felt like doing so, i don't want him to get the wrong idea pag nakita niyang nakangiti din ako sa kanya.
Baka isipin niya na gustong gusto ko siyang makita. Hindi ba, ha Beatriz? Of course not!!
"Oh. Bakit kunot na kunot yung noo mo? Don't you want me here?"
Napatingin ako kay Thirdy at sa tono ng pananalita at mukha niya ay mukhang seryoso siya. I saw a glimpse of pain in his eyes.
Idiot. Why would I invite you here in the first place if i don't want you here, kung pwede namang maglaro tayo ng magkalayo.
"Sira. Ang init kasi. Pumasok ka na nga." Ngumiti ako ng tipid bago siya tinulak paloob.
He made himself comfortable on the couch while i went in the kitchen to grab some snacks and drinks.
"Thirds!" sigaw ko pagbukas ko ng ref.
"Yes?"
"Ay putangina!" I jumped in shock nung marinig ko si Thirdy mula sa likod ko at maramdaman ko ang hininga niya sa may tenga ko.
Naknang! Just when did he got here?
"Ano ba Ferdinand!" singhal ko sa kanya. I could still hear my own heartbeat at ramdam ko ang pag init ng mukha ko.
"What?" He looked at me laughing. He was laughing so hard that I already see tears escaping from his eyes.
"Pakyu ka!" inis na sigaw ko sa kanya bago siya binato ng nahagip kong basahan.
Dahil sa sobrang pagtawa niya eh hindi niya agad napansin ang binato kong basahan. Full force ko pa namang binato yun at saktong sakto pa sa mukha niya.
It was my turn to laugh then.
"Ah ganun ha." Sabi ni Thirdy matapos alisin ang basahan sa mukha niya.
Natigilan lang ako sa pagtawa nung makita kong papalapit na sakin si Thirdy na may mapang asar na itsura.
Automatic na umatras ang mga paa ko. Trying to get away from him as far as possible.
"H-hoy hoy! Nasa pamamahay kita ha!" suway ko sa kanya pero tuloy lang siya sa paglapit sakin.
Napalingon ako sa likod ko nung tumama ang bewang ko sa matigas na bagay. I hit the countertop and it's a dead end for me. Shit.
Pagharap ko muli ay nasa unahan ko na si Thirdy and we..fck. We almost kissed.
And it's gonna be my fault kung nagkataon!
"Wala sila Tita diba?" I saw a playful smile on his lips kaya mas lalo akong kinabahan.
"O-oh, eh a-ano naman." I tried to look tough and even raised an eyebrow at him. Pero he doesn't seem to be intimidated at all.
"How 'bout we do something wreckless today Bei?" His grin grew wider. He keeps on coming closer and the distance between our faces is decreasing.
Nakita ko ang paglalakbay ng mata niya mula sa mata ko, pababa sa ilong ko, and that look lingered on my lips.
Shit.
I was out of words. Wala akong ibang madinig kundi ang malakas at mabilis na tibok ng puso ko.
I could see clearly in his eyes that he wants to kiss me.
And I want the same thing.
Tumingin muli siya sa mata ko na ikinagulat ko. He looks so calm yet i could see doubt in his eyes.
He..he's asking for my permission.
Tangina.
I cussed inside my head as I did my next move that would probably be the reason for my death later.
I closed my eyes and feel the moment. I moved closer, diminishing the distance between us.
Until I felt his soft lips on mine.
Halo halo ang emosyong naramdaman ko. It tickles my stomach and it feels so good, so right.
I was about to pull myself from the kiss when I felt his hands around my waist and he pulled me closer to him.
I was shocked but I was lost again when he started kissing me back.
It was slow, but sweet. Full of feels.
After a few minutes of kissing, we were both catching our breath when we parted.
Magkadikit ang noo namin matapos ng moment na iyon. He was looking at me in my eyes and I did the same.
"I'm going crazy for you Beatriz. I really am." he seriously said while caressing my cheeks.
A smile escaped from my lips.
"Then let's go crazy together." I said which made him smile too.
He hugged me so tight and I felt like it was the safest place on earth.
"Can I ask something?" He whispered calmly.
"Sure."
There was a minute of silence before he could continue.
"T-tayo na ba?"
Natulala ako saglit sa tinanong niya. I let myself rest on his chest a little longer before moving away a little to see his face.
I cupped his cheeks and tiptoed before giving him a short but soft kiss.
"Does that answer your question Ferdinand?"
