B E AThe moment I entered the house, saka lang nag-sink in sakin na wala nga pala yung parents ko. I sighed heavily as I made my way to my room.
I shrugged at my own thought and change my clothes. After changing, I went down in the kitchen to find something to eat.
“Ya, did you made meryenda already?” she turned to me and smiled.
“Oo naman. Bilin yan ng Mommy mo sakin bago sila umalis eh. Wag na wag ko daw hahayaan na wala kang kakainin. Mukhang busy ka sa school eh.” she answered as she started scrubbing the stove again.
I opened the microwave and saw a cheesy lasagna. I almost drool, geez.
“Thanks Ya. You can go home early na po if you want to. I can manage my own dinner naman po.” I said as I cut a piece of lasagna for myself.
She just nodded in response and continued working.
I was about to eat when the doorbell suddenly chimed. Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Yaya.
“May inaasahang bisita ka ba Mam?”
“No po. Paki-check nalang po kung sino. If they look familiar to you, papasukin niyo nalang po. If not, just call me and I'll be the one to talk to them.”
“Oh my gosh.” I muttered as the cheese melted in my mouth.
“Hey!” i turned around and saw the person who stole my spoon.
“Thirds? Anong ginagawa mo dito?” my forehead creased.
He sat on the stool in front of me and started eating the lasagna on my plate.
“Boring sa bahay eh. May gagawin ka ba bdl?” he asked while stuffing his mouth with my food.
“Wala naman.” sagot ko. Bigla akong naweirduhan sa kanya. He used to call me bdl before, but that was like 3 years ago.
I quickly slapped his hand and steal away my plate and spoon back.
“I'm not yet done eating.” he said as if he's a five year old kid throwing rants at his mother.
“This is mine.” I said emphasizing the word 'mine'.
Thirdy rolled his eyes.
“Eh ikaw? Kelan kita matatawag na mine?”
I lost myself with his sudden question. Pucha, ano bang meron kay Thirdy ngayon?
“May kasalanan ka ba sakin?” I managed to ask, diverting the topic.
His smile faded and his forehead creased.
“Why did you asked?”
“Wala lang. Parang masiyado ka na atang vocal ngayon. It's really not you.” I said honestly.
I mean, fully air-conditioned yung bahay. He's been here before but he never sweat like that. Plus the sudden movement of his adams apple, up and down.
