Things to take note of in differences between Original version and this rewrite-
Pim is no longer apart of the team. This is due to me trying to incorporate the Ant-man movie in. So if Hope Van Dyne exists then Henry Pym Jr doesn't. But a version of him does exist and will be mentioned. He's now named Pim Lang.
Pim has now been replaced by Azari, son of Storm and Black Panther. We'll be introduced to him this chapter.
Tess, James's sister, is now named Sarah after Steve's mom. She's 13 in this rewrite.
When Taylor was finally let out of her anatomy class with Dr. McCoy she headed straight towards the theater department. The head of the theater department Mr. Lee, everyone called him Stan though, had given permission to Taylor and Gabby to eat lunch in the theater when it wasn't being used. And to be honest, it was never used. So since freshman year Gabby and Taylor had always met in the theater to eat lunch. She'd texted James that if he wanted to join them with his 'friends' he could.
It didn't take long to get to the theater. She was the first one there so she climbed up the side entrance stairs and onto the stage looking out at the empty rows of chairs. She smiled before taking a seat and putting her backpack in front of her before pulling out her lunch. It wasn't more than a few moments before the sound of voices reached her ears.
"You seriously think someone would be eating lunch in here?!" a voice complained sounding like it belonged to Leif.
"James is not one to lie Thorson," said a new voice that Taylor didn't recognize. Right as that sentence finished a group of 5 people walked around the corner and into Taylor's sight. There were James and Sydney and Leif of course, but there were 2 other people Taylor didn't recognize.
There was a girl with black wavy hair that reached her lower back and striking green eyes. She looked regal like she was a monarch. The white floral blouse she wore didn't seem to do her justice with the camo green jeans and black wedges she wore. She was a little shorter than Leif judging on how she was the same height as the boy with the wedges she wore that could only be giving her an inch and a half. If anything she reminded Taylor of a real-life Wonder Woman.
The other person looked to be 2 inches shorter than James, with dark skin. He held himself like an actual royal. His natural black curls were pushed up and the sides of his head were shortened and his eyes were a sky blue. He wore a white button-down shirt with what looked to be a Wakandan maroon jacket over it.
At the sight of her, James smiled. "And you guys thought I was lying!" He grinned looking over his shoulder at Leif before walking up the stairs and onto the stage. "Thank you so much for saving us from the cafeteria," he thanked her as he sank to the floor next to Taylor.
"It's not a problem. Anything to save a few people from the stink and chaos that is the cafeteria," she joked lightly, "I'm Taylor by the way," she introduced herself to the two newcomers.
"Alva," the wonder woman girl introduced herself, "It's a pleasure to meet you," she smiled sweetly. Her voice sounded like those of the royal family of England.
"Azari," the boy introduced himself next right as Leif and Sydney sat down.
"So where's Gabby?" James asked looking around the auditorium for the girl.
"She has debate practice during lunch today. The first meeting of the year and all and since she's a senior she's one of three team captains so she has to be there to welcome the new kids," Taylor explained, "Thank God I choose not to debate. So what kinds of sports, hobbies, or clubs do you guys do?" she questioned.
