Five : The New Guy

"Mrs Sohyun, our school counsellor had just gave birth to twins and she is currently resting in the hospital. Due to that, she won't be able to come to school for a few weeks or till she is fully heal. So, the counselling room will temporary be unavailable. So, if you have any concern to share, please hold on till she comes back or tell me if you want to. Or you can visit her later." Said Prof Alex.

Upon hearing the news, everyone began to talk and exclaim about how excited they are, and they can't wait to visit her and her baby twins.

"Alright, alright, settle down everyone. I know you guys are excited and all, but don't forget that I still have lessons to conduct. Now, before I even begin, I have another news, the last one. Today, we have a new student that transferred over here, and from what I heard, he used to study at one of the top schools in town. I wonder why..." said Prof Alex.

As Prof Alex was lost in his thoughts, the school principal walks into the classroom and everyone stood up to greet her.

"Everyone, please be seated. Now I know that you must have heard about the news and are wondering what I am doing here, well I have brought in a new student over to your class today and he is currently standing outside. So, I must warn all of you as well as remind you, not to make his stay here hard and girls, please restrain from fangirling, or screamed at the top of the lungs when he comes in. hmm?"

Everyone nods their heads as well as laugh at her plead to the female students. Soon she smiled and ask the new student to enter before she walks out of the class. As he enters, as expected, the female students began to scream and comments about him as well as admire his looks.

Well not everyone, Luna for one was shocked to see him that she taps on Lily's shoulder hard.

"What?!" Lily turns around while whispers loudly to Luna.

"Look..." as Luna points out to the front.

Lily turns back to face front and saw what made Luna taps on her shoulder ad froze. It was the same guy that she had bump into just a few moments ago. Lily felt her face turns pale and tries to avoid looking at him while the Professor is writing his name on the board and soon introduce him.

"Now class, his name is Eric Marcus and as you know, he used to study at one of the top schools, but he got transferred to ours due to his father change of workplace. So, Eric if you would please, introduce more about yourself." Prof Alex ushered Eric to step in front and introduce himself.

"Hello, my name is Eric...and it is an honour to be here. Please look after me." said Eric.

Everyone clapped their hands and welcome him to the class. Prof Alex then looks around the classroom to see if there are any seats for Eric.

"Your seat will be...ah! There, beside Lily. Lily, could you be kind enough to raise your hand so that Eric knows who you are." Said Prof Alex.

Shocked to hear the professor asking her to do so, she raises her hand while avoiding eye-contact from Eric. Soon, Eric made his way towards his seat and place his bag on the floor before taking a seat.

Prof Alex began his lessons while revising back some parts from the previous lessons. While Lily was trying to pay attention to the lesson, she could not help but feel that Eric was staring at her. Curious as she is, she peeked at him and saw that he was indeed staring at her.

Shocked by it, Lily looks away and face front while feeling that her heart began to race. Not sure of what she could do, she kept her eyes on the board, but her mind was running in circle.

"And so, the...Ms Lily, is everything alright? Ms Lily?" called out the Prof to Lily.

Lost in her thoughts, Lily did not hear the professor calling out to her and Luna noticed it, she taps on Lily' shoulder again and again till Lily snaps out of her thoughts.

"Huh? Yes, Prof?" asked Lily after she snaps out.

"Is everything alright, Lily? You seem pale." said Prof Alex.

"Hmm? Oh yes, everything is fine. it is just that I didn't had enough sleep alast night and I am kind of worried about Ms Sohyun." Replied Lily.

"Oh right, she is your brother's wife, right? Well, don't worry to much, she will be fine and why don't you visit her later after school?" said Prof Alex.

Lily nods her head, then Prof Alex resumes back to his lesson before the school bells rings. Feeling embarrassed by what had happened, recalling the short incident made her blush even more.

After the second bells rings, indicating that it was lunch time, Lily and her friends quickly made their way out of class and heads to the cafeteria.

"Can you believe it? That new dude is our new classmate and not only that, but he is also the new hottest student in school as well." said Rayna.

"True, but how did you know about this new update, Rayna? I mean, usually it will be either Luna or Faith that always has the latest updates." Asked Miko.

"Well, I heard this from a cousin of mine. He so happens to be in the school basketball team. I heard that this Eric guy has already sign up for the team including about how he actually has eyes for someone already?" said Rayna.

"What? Are you serious?! What was running in that mind of his? Joining the team, on the first day?! and had eyes on someone already? Who?!" Faith asked Rayna.

"No idea, sorry." answered Rayna as she shrugs her shoulders.

Rayna then made her way to the cafeteria, leaving them behind and lost in their thoughts. Soon they too made their way to the cafeteria, queuing in line with the others, and then sat down at the usual place.

"Sigh...it is only our first day of school and I am already feeling tired." Comment Luna.

"Anyway, have anyone seen Miko? She was with us a few moments ago." Asked Faith.

"Oh...I think she went to the library to return a book and borrow some new ones." Replies Lily.

Luna and Faith nodded their heads then resume back to eating their lunch before walking back to the classroom where they met Miko at the door.

"Oh...Miko! Did you managed to find the books you needed?" asked Luna.

"Hmm? Oh...yes...I did, and not only did I found the books, but I also saw Eric talking to Lily's brother, Jun." Miko told them.

"Huh? Are you serious?" asked Faith.

Miko nods her head and look at Lily's reaction. Lily too was shocked to hear that her brother in-law was in school and that he was talking to Eric without her knowing. With that everyone was thinking the same thing. Who exactly is Eric Marcus? And what was he talking to Jun about?
