Thirty-one : Lily's powers

Eric quickly rushed out of the room, looking for a sharp item for his mother. Duchess Sara then turn back to Lily and told Lily her thoughts on Lily's abilities.

"Lily tell me exactly what happen and what it felt like when you were using your abilities for the first time?" asked Duchess Sara.

Lily told the duchess what she heard and how she felt when the threads appeared from her hands as well as when Josh had stop feeling the pain and lifeforce being drained from him.

Seeing her reaction, Duchess Sara assured her that everything is going to be fine and that she will find a way as well as information on what her abilities might be. Eric soon returns with a pair of scissors and handed it over to his mother before she cuts the thin thread from Lily's hand.

Once done, the thread disappeared the moment it was apart from Lily which made Duchess Sara and Eric curious as to why.

"Interesting...very interesting." Commented Duchess Sara before she heads out of the room and up the stairs.

Eric Helps Lily to stand up then walks out with her to see how the others are doing as well as wonder where the duchess did might had gone to.

"Did mother tell you anything or say anything about knowing what your abilities might be?" asked Eric.

"Nope, when I told her what had happened, she just looks surprised yet confused." Reply Lily.

"I see, well I guess we just have to wait." Eric assures Lily and they made their way towards Lily's classmates and friends.

They were busily getting treated for any wounds or injuries while drinking some calming tea that Madam Luna made it herself.

"Hey, how are you guys?" asked Lily to her close friends.

"We are fine, just a bit shock up and all, nothing serious. How about you two? How are you hanging?" asked Luna worriedly.

"Yeah, I mean you just saved our lives, all of you. Your family saved all of us, we should be thankful by that yet guilty as you might be endangering your lives in revealing your identities to us humans." Said Rayna.

Miko and Faith agreed as well, and they too felt the same guilt more than ever.

"Don't worry about us, we know you mean well but it is a risk that our family is willing to make and take it to our grave. Besides, we own you guys much more than you to us." said Eric while giving the girls a smile.

The girls felt touched by his words and wished that they could give him a big hug but they know their limitation.

Duchess Penelope soon gathers everyone together and told them to settle down as she wishes to speak to them all.

"Now I know some of you might be wondering what had just happened and wish to know the details but letting you all know about it, might endangering your live even more than it already has. So, we don not wish to put you in anymore danger, but if you still wish to know, you may stay, if not, I will asked one of my family members to erase all the memories off from you." inform Duchess Penelope.

Everyone looks at each other and began to think if they should stay or go. Knowing that there are things going on in town and they had made their decisions. Majority of the students began to sit down while their parents and teachers along with the others minority students that didn't sit, were shock to see their actions.

"We have decided to stay as some of our friends are here, risking their lives for us and besides, we already know about Lily, Eric and Mrs Sohyun identities. So, we thought, if they are willing to risk everything for us, why not we risk ours too for them back." said a senior student.
