Thirty-Four : Fighting back and Helping Hands.

"The creature is bad news? Why?" asked Gabriel.

"Because it is a cursed creature. It belongs to Mother Darkness and its job is to protect her as well as keep guard at the mind door and peace between our world and hers, till it did something that upsets her, and she cursed it for live. Blind at its sight, disfigured body and starved till it has learnt its mistakes. But seeing that it is here, it seems that someone release the creature." Answered Joey.

"You are saying that it was supposed to keep guard and remain peace between our two worlds, but somehow something bad happen and so, Mother Darkness cursed it knowing that it might hurt her more than it hurt itself?" said Emily.

Joey nods her head before looking out at the window for any signs of it coming back.

"So...how do we kill it or at least make it unbale to find us later?" asked Sandra.

"We don't. Because if we do kill it, Mother Darkness will not be please with us. only she knows how to tame it and make it stop doing all of these. She is the mother after all. Right now, we need to find a way to get out of here." said Justin.

"How? I mean we don't even know if it is nearby or far. Will it come back?" asked Drake.

Joey thought for a moment, how could they escape without letting the creature know their location. Justin walked up to her and place his hand on her shoulder before asking her if she is alright and needed any help.

"I am fine, I am just thinking how we are going to escape and head back home to warn mum and dad about this." Said Joey

"And how do you intend we get back without this creature knowing? I mean you can't expect us to run in silent and not breathe?" asked Justin.

Thinking of a way, Joey then thought of a way for them to escape, she heads back inside and approached Lily.

"Lily, how long can you last? Your ability." Joey asked Lily.

"Erm...I guess as long as I can, about 30 minutes or more. Provided I don't get distracted or frighten or even injured, I think. Why?" replied Lily before wondering why she was asking.

"Okay, I thought of a way for us to escape without being notice by Jinx, but I need you all to be as quiet as you can when we are outside and try not to scream." Inform Joey before asking the others to gather around and place Lily in the middle with Eric by her side.

"Alright, stay as close as you can and within arm reach. Remember, try to remain silent while we are escaping and if you see any signs of Jinx, try not to scream or make any noise." Said Joey.

The others followed as being told and held each other arms tightly, pulling each other as close as they could. They soon head outside and slowly walk while keeping a lookout of Jinx.

As they were walking, they could hear its growl at a distance and Lily quickly use a reflector ability, this time she imagines it bigger and instead of only reflecting reflection like a mirror, it can also reflect all sounds as well.

While nearly halfway, Hina could see Jinx at one of the alleys and it was slowly crawling towards them while moving its head from side to side. Trying to listen for them and even sniff them out but only to find it hard, thanks to Lily.

Knowing that Lily might have trouble with walking while using her ability, Eric carried her and told her to keep on concentrating on the reflector. Hearing him saying that, Lily blushed but soon close her eyes back and concentrating on using her full ability in protecting all of them.

"Stay close, Emily. Remember Lily has a limit to how big and long she can go, so we must be cautious at all times." Whispers Joey to Emily.

Emily went close to them even more but only to accidentally bump onto an empty bottle that was on the floor and it made Jinx turn its head towards it. Emily began to panic but was soon stopped by MJ who was quick in getting her to stop panic and making any more noises.
