Thirty-Seven : Hope is Coming

Nina followed Light along a path that could hardly be seen in the spirit world due the fogs that covers it.

"Where are you taking me? and why are we in hurry?" asked Nina.

"Well, your family and friends are currently in danger and are in need of our help but before we could assist them, we need to solve something first." Answered Light.

"What would that be? what do you mean 'We'? and what do you mean by my family and friends are in trouble? What kind of trouble?" asked Nina worriedly.

"Well it has something to do with how this war begun, we as in me, you and my sister which we will soon meet at the end of this path and lastly, yes they are currently trying to fight off Mother Darkness's lost creatures, Jinx." Answered Light.

Nina was shocked to hear about the current situation happening to her family and friends on the other side. She began to panic inside, her heart slowly aching, and fear was entering her, but Light's voice stops all that.

"Don't worry, once we solve this, we will be able to save your family and stops all Faith and her ghouls from conquering the world." Assured Light.

Nina shock off the thoughts and fears, then nods her head in understanding. She walks besides Light and they quickly make their way on the path towards their next destination.

Soon at the end of the path, they saw a slim figure at a distance and quickly approach the figure.

"Sister! I have brought her over, she was lost at the other side, and she needs our help." Light told the figure whom she called sister.

"Good, now we must hurry. It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Yue, the Moonlight Flower Guardian and we have been expecting you. I will tell you more about us soon, for now we need to solve this problem first." Said Yue as she introduces herself to Nina.

"Yue? You're the guardian that went missing a long time ago, right?" asked Nina.

"Yes, and to be exact, I was banished by a shadow a long time ago. It stops me from meeting a friend of mine who was holding onto the flower back when I was young, but we will talk about this some other time." replied Yue.

"Right, sorry I forgot. Anyway, what is this problem we are supposed to solve?" asked Nina before she turns to see what they were looking at.

"It is more like what is it." said Yue as she points to a dark cloud floating in front of them.

Nina noticed that it looks like a blob and the sounds that were coming out of it along with the slime that slowly drips to the ground.

"What the hell is that? and how did it..." Nina was about to asked them when Light cuts in and told her what it is.

"It used to appear a long time ago, it was small at first and it could be easily destroyed by the Moonlight flower. A queen used the flower to banish any dark shadows away from the land as well as the spirit world and stops the war from happening." Said Light.

"But due to the queen's element, she disappeared along with it. She became the sacrifice to save all her love ones." Added Yue.

"Queen?" asked Nina.

Yue gave her a smile and Nina realize who she meant the queen was. It was her grandmother, the queen that died and disappeared in the first war.

"Now the shadow is back and this time it is bigger, stronger and darker than before. My sister and I have been trying our best to stop it from growing bigger but every time we did, it just kept on growing till it became like this. So, before it is too late, we need your help in stopping it from growing anymore bigger. We need you to recall everything on how Faith became what she is now as well as when did she began to change as this shadow appeared when Faith started to desire something she could not have." Said Light.
