Thirteen : Ceremony and Memories

It was the night of the welcoming ceremony and everyone was congratulating Faith and her husband, Josh on the birth of their second child.

"Faith, congratulation babe, on the birth of your second child. He looks ever so beautiful like you unlike someone we knew." Comment one of her friends.

Lady Faith, third child in the House of Phoenix and the first daughter amongst her siblings. She is also the strongest and controls over Fire, she has the same temper as her mother, a short temperament.

"Thank you, Grace. You are very kind, but the credits do not only go to me, if it had not been for Josh, I won't be able to bear another child for him." Replied Faith as she thanks her friend.

Master Josh, the oldest in the House of Blackguard and he controls overshadows and mist. Unlike his wife, Faith, Josh is a down to earth person like his parents.

"Oh yes, Josh...I can see how much lust he must have for you. you must be like a drug to him, one step away from you and onto the bed you will be, getting prepared for your punishment." Said Grace teasingly.

"Oh Grace, you are ever so dirty minded as always. But indeed, you are right, he can't seem to keep his hands off me." agreed Faith proudly.

They continued to gossip away on how much she and Josh were made for each other and that they became more closer than ever. while the other guests were being attended by Josh himself, he saw his father entering and excuses himself as he made his way to his father.

"Father, glad you could make it. How are you? and where are the others? Are they here?" asked Josh as he greets his father.

"I'm fine as always, and no...your mother and siblings are unable to make it as they are busy with some stuff." Replied his father hesitantly.

Duke Paul, fourth son of the Former Royal Family and Duke of the House f Blackguard, Guardians and Warriors of the current Royal Family. He is the last prince amongst his brothers and has one sister. He has control over Earth elements and fighting skill as well as swordsmanship skills like the others do.

"They are still upset with me, aren't they? For what I did in the past? That is why they do not ever want to see me or my wife. Including mother?" asked Josh sadly.

"Of course not, son. It is just that...they are quite busy these past few weeks and your mother is feeling unwell. Even so, they still congratulate you both on the birth of your second child. Don't overthink it." assured Duke Paul to his son.

Feeling less convinced, Josh nods his head before seeing Faith approaching them with her friends.

"Excuse me, son. I need to talk to Mr Arthur there for a moment." Said Duke Paul as he quickly made his way to Mr Arthur.

"Did something happen? Why did father moved away when I was approaching?" asked Faith in confused.

"Oh...he just saw Mr Arthur arrived and had been wanting to talk to him, discussed something with him." Answered Josh, covering up for his father.

"Really? Okay, I believe you, darling. Now Josh dear, Grace here, heard that one of your relatives will be dropping by later." Inform Faith as she smiles mischievously.

"Oh? Who is it?" asked Josh.

"The House of Everlasting of course. Duke Akira and his family will be coming over to the ceremony along with their in-laws." Answer Faith.

Hearing their names, Josh froze for a moment before looking at Faith who was smile widely. Faith could not help but smile back to him with evil in her eyes.
