Fourteen : Painful yet Honest Truth Pt 1.

"How long has it been since they went in there?" asked Emily impatiently.

The Royal and Everlasting family members are seated outside the emergency room, waiting for any nurses or doctors to come out with new on Nina's condition.

Worried about their eldest sister, Emily kept pacing back and forth in front of them in the hallway, Hina was trying to calm Rose and Luna who had been crying ever since they entered the hospital while Nick and Lily kept looking at the emergency sign. Waiting for the red light to go off.

Duchess Penelope kept her eyes close, praying that nothing bad happen to her daughter and her grandchild, hoping for good news.

"Penelope are you okay?" asked Duchess Sara as she places her hand on her shoulder.

"Hmm...Your Majesty. Yes, I will be fine, I am just praying that we hear good news from the doctor." Replied Duchess Penelope as she weeps some of her tears away.

Seeing how worried her sister is, Duchess Sara gave an assuring smile to her and told her that everything is going to be fine. Duchess Penelope mouthed a thank you back and held her hands tightly before sighing.

Soon the emergency light went off and slowly nurses exit the door before they saw someone they knew.

"May! How is my sister? How is she?" asked Emily as she went up to May.

"Calm down, Emily. Listen, Nina and her baby are fine."

Upon hearing that, everyone sighed in relieve and felt thankful, yet they felt something was not right as when they look at May, she looks worried and nervous.

"What is it, May? Why do you look so worried and you have that nervous face whenever you felt guilty or like you have to say to but you can't." asked Hina.

"Huh? oh...well Doctor Erina wishes to speak to you all and she asked me to bring you to her office straight away." Replies May as she ushers them to the doctor office.

She then asked her colleges to bring some refreshment for the family to the office. They reached the office and May told them to take a seat while they wait for the doctor to come.

"May, is there something wrong? And why did Doctor Erina asked us to see her?" asked Emily.

"Well...everything will be explained clearer once she is here and she...or we have something to tell you." answered May softly.

Soon Doctor Erina enters the office and walks towards her table before sitting down on her chair and asked May to take a seat as well.

"Your Majesties, Duchess Penelope and family members, I am guessing that you all must be wondering as to why I asked to meet you. The reason is that...I have something to inform you as well as a confession to say." said Doctor Erina.

"And that is?" asked Duchess Sara.

"As you all know, Nina and her baby are well and healthy. So, they are in no danger for now, what I mean is that there is still a high chance that Nina will go through it again if she is to be in the same situation that does not suits her." said Doctor Erina in a serious tone.

"What do you mean by situation?" asked Jun.

"How do I put this? Erm...there is a reason as to why Nina felt weak and cause her to faint, it is because of Josh and Faith. It seems that whenever she is around them, her powers seem to be activated and protects her from what is harming her and her baby." Explain Doctor Erina.

"Meaning?" asked Duchess Penelope.

"Meaning, that there is a high chance that one of them is trying to harm her and it is causing her powers to be activated without her knowing. As to why, I am not sure, but what I am certain is that this is not the first time it happens." Inform Doctor Erina.

"Not the first time? You mean that this has happened before? how many times had it happened?" asked Duchess Penelope.

"Five times, to be exact. I believe it all began when Nina was pregnant with Josh's child." replied May nervously.

"What you do mean, May?" asked Hina as she and Emily looks at her in confuse.

"It seems that when Nina was bearing Josh's child, thye baby was rejecting her as the mother." Replied Doctor Erina in a serious tone.

"What? Reject her as his or her mother? Why?" asked Hina.

Everyone was shocked and confused by her answer and wondered why did the baby rejects her and why was Nina's power activate without her knowing? What was it trying to protect her from?

"Okay, I am so confused. Can you please explain to us clearly? In details, please." Asked Nick along with Jun.

"Okay, let me put it like this, was Josh and Nina meant to be mate? Did Nina bear his mark or was she already marked by someone else mark? What I am trying to say, it seems that is a female were to bear not her mate's child, she will show symptoms of rejection and will slowly grow weak. Like how Nina was at that time." explain Doctor Erina.

"Go on..." said Duchess Penelope as she sat down near the door.

"When Nina was pregnant with Josh's child, she shows signs of weak, pale skin, tired and will tend to faint from time to time. That happened because Josh was not and is not her true mate. She was already marked by someone else and Josh's mark was on someone else." Added Doctor Erina.

Everyone was listening closely to the doctor's explanation and soon recalled that was what happened to Nina in the past and realized there is a chance that Nina might lost her baby again if she is not careful. But there is a way for her and her baby to be safe.

"Don't let Nina meet Josh and Faith for the time being or even their other family members if possible. But if there is any chance you can't avoid them, ensure that Nina is close by to Jun so that the symptoms could reduce to minimum." Order Doctor Erina.

"So, as long as my son is close to her, she is safe?" ask Duchess Sara.

Doctor Erina nods her head before answering a yes to the duchess.

"Only when Josh or Faith is nearby her. Other than that, the rests are alright for her to be close. Because we need to know exactly what happened in the past, in order to find a cure for her. For now, this is the best option o can come up with." Added Doctor Erina.

Jun nods his head and swore that he will never leave Nina alone ever again.

"But to know what exactly happen that night, Nina will need to..." Nurse May hesitates before Doctor Erina cuts her thought.

"Yes May. She must open and shared the memories that she wishes to disappear, and it is the only way we can find a cure. That is why May, I am allowing you to use your powers to help her remember." Said Doctor Erina.

"You mean..."

"Of course, May has the power to open up any memories and show it to the people that wishes to see but it is highly dangerous as it may endanger May as well as Nina and they might be stuck in the memories if anything were to go wrong." Said Emily.

Hearing that, Jun disagree with the idea.

"But Jun, it is the only way..."

"NO! no Emily, I can't let Nina suffer again or risk May's life. I can't see Nina in anymore pain than she already has." Said Jun in disagreement.

"I know how you feel son but..." before Duke Marcus could finish, they heard Nick said something that shocks everyone in the room.

"Do it...Nina told me to do it." said Nick.

"What?" asked Jun.

"Nina told me to do it, she said do it. she knows that it will endanger her and her baby along with May, but it is the only way she can move on and forget about everything. She even asked me to tell you Jun, don't worry, she can handle it. As long as you are there with her." inform Nick.

Hearing that, Jun felt helpless, but he knew that it is the only way.

"Alright, do it May. Use your power and help Nina remember what happened that night." Order Jun.

Knowing the consequence, everyone agrees to it and soon made their way to Nina's room. They are about to find out the truth of what happened that day when Nina and Josh went the separate ways. The day when the entire nightmare had begun.
