Friends?

"I'm so in love with her." Grant said to Carlos about Candice. Carlos was his best friend on-screen and also off-screen, so was Candice. "I always knew it, from your first scene together to y'all first kiss on 'The Flash', I always knew it." Carlos said excitedly, "When are you even gonna ask her out anyways and when are y'all even gonna date?" Grant said "I'm not sure she feels the same way ." Grant laughed, "But you can't tell anyone, please don't." he begged. Carlos asked confusedly, "Why not? I'm pretty sure everyone knows, it's soooo obvious granola." "oh my gosh, is it? and do you think Candice knows?", Grant asked. Carlos laughed then replied, "It's too obvious to even be true, and to be honest, I'm pretty sure she feels the same way."

"Who feels the same way about what?

The two boys turned to see Candice standing in front of the door of Grant's trailer. Her beauty made them speechless and they couldn't help but stare at her. "uhh hey guys?" Candice said wondering what was up with those two. "WOW, you look so beautiful Candice!", Grant told her. "You look extraordinarily stunning Candice!" Carlos quickly said to wind Grant up. Grant could feel himself heating up, even though all three of them are a squad, Grant ALWAYS get jealous of Candice with another male. "hahaha aww you guys are too sweet, anyways I came here to talk to Grant but it seemed like I'm interrupting something? haha, I'll see you guys later then ." Candice flashed them her beautiful smile and left. "Seriously Cisco? 'extraordinarily stunning'?", Grant asked almost angry. "uh yeah, I mean she is" replied Cisco. "haha, of course she is, forget that though. She wanted to talk to me, and I'm guessing in private" Grant said, "Yeah dude I think so, go on, go see her!" Carlos said.

Grant ran to see Candice at her trailer.

"Hey Candice, you wanted to talk?". "Yeah, I'm just gonna say it now" , Candice breathed in slowly and then breathe out slowly, "Do you wanna maybe go, I don't know like somewhere with me this week?" Grant couldn't help but smile and feel all kinds of happy, Candice Patton, THE Candice Patton, is asking Grant Gustin on a date!? Grant couldn't feel any happier but felt like it was his job to ask her out not the other way round. He wasn't sure tho if it was a date or not so he had to make sure, "As a date?,  aren't I the one who's supposed to ask you out? , I mean I want to be a gentleman you know." Candice couldn't help but feel so shy and embarrassed, she couldn't keep her feelings in so she low key was asking Grant on a date. "Oh uh no um, not a date! It's actually a date but between two friends! A friends date!", Candice immediately regretted saying that and wish she could turn back time to never say that to him. The smile on his face quickly disappeared, "Friends date?" , Grant asked all confused and sad. Candice once again didn't know what to say and was embarrassed, "Yeah uh I gotta go, talk later? About our date? I mean uh our friends date?", Candice regretted saying that stupid word again. Grant tried to fake a smile, "Yeah sure, haha friends date.". Candice leaves the room in a rush, feeling flustered and stupid for saying "friends date" .
"Friends date huh?" , Grant thought to himself and felt heartbroken that Candice only saw him as a friend-friend and nothing more.
