Confusion

Grant and Candice were all cuddled up on
Grant's sofa at his apartment. The aroma of vanilla scented candles and hot steaming coffee filled the room. It was 12 in the afternoon and Breakfast at Tiffany's was streaming on Netflix. Everything was calm and relaxing...

Then Grant broke the silence and asked Candice, "So when do you wanna make our relationship official to the public?". Candice sighed, got up from Grant's arm and turned to look at him in the eyes. "Babe, I told you a million times alrea-", "Okay, I understand babe, I'm sorry", Grant quickly said, he didn't want to argue with Candice. Grant then smiled and said, "Let's just let this 'making our relationship official to the public' thing go.". Candice smiled, "I like the sound of that", then she leans in to kiss him on the lips. "Mhmm", Grant kissed her back. "I love you Candice Patton", Grant whispered to Candice. "I love you Grant Gustin", Candice whispered back to Grant. They made out on Grant's sofa, they were so in love.

Candice wakes up, only to find herself asleep on a shirtless Grant. "Um Grant", Candice said trying to wake Grant up. "Mhmhm", Grant was still half asleep. "Grant why don't you have your shirt on? We were napping only for half an hour", Candice said to Grant. "Uhh yeah about that uhh", Grant said awkwardly. Candice laughed, "Yeahhh Grant". Grant quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, I was sweaty and it was so hot". Candice laughed, "Don't apologize babe, I like sleeping on your chest". Grant blushed and felt the need to apologize again. "It's okay Grant, anyways I have to go to set now.". "Okay, I'll see you at night then babe", Grant told Candice. Grant was not going to set today. Candice then asked Grant, "Remind me again, why can't you come to set today?". Grant got nervous and stuttered when he said, "I'm going to have a meeting with my acting managers.". Candice gave him a puzzling look, but then she gave Grant her beautiful smile. He couldn't help but smile back, even though he felt guilty about lying to Candice... Candice gave him a kiss, "Okay babe, I'll see you later". Candice then walked out of Grant's apartment door. Grant sighed heavily, "Ugh, what have I gotten myself into?".

At the set, Andrew and Danielle were both having a heated argument. It's been going like this for days. They argued about how they could get Candice out of the spotlight, how some certain ship should rule over 'West-Allen", and how Candice (Iris West) should be killed off the show. Danielle now started to feel uncomfortable around Andrew, but what could she do? When he's pretty much the reason how she got into the show. She didn't need to audition for 'The Flash' because she was friends with Andrew Kreisberg, who was a television writer. The argument did not end well at all with Andrew storming out of Danielle's trailer furiously.

Danielle sighed heavily as she went out of her trailer, only to hear this. "aww, I love you babe, I gotta go now, see you later babe", Candice said to Grant over the phone. Candice turned and saw Danielle right in front of her, staring at her. Candice stunned, then said loudly and angrily, "Oh my gosh, what the hell Danielle!!!" Danielle laughed awkwardly, "I'm sorry, I just came out of my trailer and I just heard you.". Candice didn't say anything. but eyeballs Danielle suspiciously. Danielle laughed again awkwardly, "So who's the lucky mysterious guy huh?". Candice lied, "Oh, it's someone from Texas, he's an old friend of mine.". Danielle then laughed, "So you're cheating on Grant?". Candice was completely stunned and speechless. She tried to ask Danielle how did she know, but no words came out of her mouth. Danielle smiled, "Oh please Candice, I've known all along, everyone knows", she laughed. Candice was still shocked and was surprised at how Danielle was being so nice. Candice didn't know what to say, "Keep it a secret?, please?". Danielle smiled, "It's so obvious, but of course I will", then she walked away. Candice was still stunned and confused.

It was finally early evening. Grant was at a local Starbucks with his PR (Public Relations) manager. His PR manager started asking him questions about how he should make his relationship with Candice public. This would be incredibly good for his image and reputation. By having an in real life relationship with a co-star who is your love interest in the show your in is amazing for communication and building good relationships with other organisation stakeholders. Grant was listening hard, deeply and carefully to what his PR manager was saying about having a good image and reputation. Grant then explained to his PR manager how Candice wanted to keep things private, especially their relationship. Grant's PR manager gave a face, he didn't like the sound of that and Grant didn't like the look his PR manager gave to him. His PR manager told Grant to find someone else, someone who wasn't a celebrity, who was a nobody, By doing this, things would be way easier because it's not two famous people with different opinions and busy schedules. Grant didn't like the sound of that. How could he find someone else, who wasn't Candice? He truly, truly, truly loved Candice with all of his heart, soul and mind. But he also loved his image and reputation, almost just as much. Grant's PR manager then told him to think about it. He suggested going through his brother's, Tyler, friends and following list. By dating someone who knows a family member before the relationship is a good love story, Grants PR manager told him. Grant PR manager then told him to think about it again, and he left. Grant sat there, with a cup of coffee in his hands and a millions thoughts running through his mind...

Grant went back to his apartment. He sat down on his couch and the first thing he had to look for was a friend of Tyler. Grant went on the Instagram app, just as he did, Tyler posted a picture, and he found a girl 'LA Thoma'. He tapped on her tag and went on her account, then he clicked the follow button. Immediately after Grant tapped the 'follow' button, Candice called him. Grant's heart raced rapidly. Candice was supposed to go to Grant's apartment after she was done on set. "Hey Candice", Grant said over the phone. "Hey babe, I'm done on set, I'll be getting an Uber to your place soon okay?". Grant didn't know what to say or do, "Uhh, about that Candice, can we please rain check? I'm really tired, the meeting today was hectic.". Candice understood and felt bad for Grant and wished she was with him to comfort him and cuddle him so he won't be tired anymore. "aww sure babe, I'll see you tomorrow?", Candice told Grant over the phone. Then she suddenly remembered something, "Oh my gosh Grant, tomorrow is the Golden Globes Awards!!!". Grant was stunned, he completely forgot, "Oh damn, I completely forgot! Well I guess I better head to bed now, so I can rest, Goodnight Candice.". Candice laughed because Grant forgot about the Golden Globes too, "Goodnight babe". Then Grant dropped the phone and sighed hard.

After his phone call with Candice, LA Thoma accepted his follow request and she followed him back. Grant quickly, without thinking, slide into LA's dm's and wrote, "Hey, I'm Grant Gustin. We should talk.".

Grant prepared for bed, went into his bed and sighed heavily, "Ugh, what have I gotten myself into?". He then went to sleep...
