It was finally late evening, they both didn't notice the time because they were having so much fun together. "Wow that was the most fun I've ever had in my entire life to be honest.", Candice said. "hahah same, and I'm so glad I got to spend this moment with you.", said Grant. They both looked into each other's eyes, Grant leaned in closer, and closer and closer... "oh my gosh, there's one more ride we haven't been on yet Grant, the Ferris wheel, come on let's go!" Candice said quickly. Grant quickly moved back, embarrassed that Candice didn't lean in for a kiss. "Yeah let's go" , they both walked to the Ferris wheel got a cabin and sat inside. They both sat next to each other and looked out at the gorgeous scenery of the lit up carnival. Their cabin finally got to the top, this was where the carnival looked the most stunning. Candice was so in love with the scene, "Wow, the carnival looks so beautiful", "You look so beautiful...", Grant said looking at her. Candice turned and they both looked deep into each other's eyes, they were like that for a minute until Grant leaned in and kissed Candice. She quickly pulled away, "Grant..." , "I'm so sorry" , Grant said a bit upset. They both looked at each other with love in their eyes, Candice quickly leaned in and kissed Grant, he kissed her back, their lips interlocking with each other. Grant pulled away and said "I love you", even though it was their first ever date and their not officially together yet, Grant really did love Candice. "I love you too", Candice said and Grant wrapped his arms round Candice the rest of the Ferris wheel ride while enjoying the scenery and each other's presence.

They walked together hand in hand to a bench at a park nearby and sat down by each other. "Thank you so much Grant for such an amazing day" Candice said with heart eyes, "I should be thanking you for inviting me on this date, friend." , Grant teases Candice. They both laughed, Candice a bit annoyed and still laughing said, "you're not gonna stop with that now are you?" , "hahaha I don't think so Candice" , and they both laughed again.

The night was cold and Candice was freezing for she was wearing a spaghetti strap shirt and didn't bring a jacket. Grant looked over at Candice and saw her shivering, he took off his patched jacket that he knew she really loved and put it on her. He was waiting for so long to do this to her. "Aw you're so cute", Candice said blushing and he wrapped his arms round her and she snuggled her head on his chest. They watched the park and talked with each other being so in love with the other.

It was late, and Candice needed to get home and call an Uber. "I'll take you home", Grant told Candice, "It's fine I can go on my own" , "No Candice, I'm talking you home and I want to take you home, I don't want you to go home alone at night." . Candice felt so in love with him at that moment and had no time to argue saying she's fine on her own, so Grant took her home with his car. The entire car ride was amazing, they sang songs, made jokes and talked and talked and talked.

Once they reached the parkway at Candice's apartment Candice said, "Goodnight Grant, I really wish we do this more often." , Grant smiled and decided to tease her, "Yea I really want to have more friends date."'. Candice laughed but then stopped, "I'm serious Grant", "I am too" and he leaned him to kiss her, "Goodnight friend", she kissed him back and said "I guess we're sticking with that, goodnight to you too friend.". They both laughed and Candice went up to her apartment and Grant drove off to his.

They both went into their beds, smiled and thought about the kiss they had. It wasn't their first kiss of course. They kissed couple of times before, as Barry and Iris. But this kiss felt more real, it was real. They kissed as Grant and Candice, they weren't acting, this was real life. "Today was the best day ever", they both said at the same time and went to sleep with joy in their hearts and minds.
