2nd November, 2017

Seoul,

11:00 am

The boys were back from the concert and were taking rest to get charged up for the Macau concert in two days. No one noticed the spy suddenly join in the crew the previous night in the flight back to Seoul, except for the manager. It was a hot morning and the roads were cooking up. The spy got freshened and dressed up in formals. It was no resting for her- she went straight to the BigHit office and kept an eye on Dae Hyun. She waited for an opportunity to find him alone.

It was past noon; the staff quarters took a break for lunch. The manager went in his cabin with the new schedules and appointment letters.

"May I enter, sir?" Helena stood in his door, darting her eyes sharply at him.

"Oh, Kim Bora, sure- come in."

She entered briskly and sat in the chair, facing the stiff-faced man in glasses. His table was piled up with papers, that he was checking and signing in, and stacks of files were arranged behind on the shelves.

"What can I do for you?" he asked, eyes still on the papers.

"I need to ask you certain questions."

"Yes, go on."

"15th October, Osaka, did you know that I was being attacked?"

The man looked up and stared at her suspicious question. "No" he said, "Why do you ask such a thing?"

"BTS run episode 24, shot on 23rd October, did you not let three polish attackers in the shooting area?"

"I- what are you- "

"1st November, Pyeongchang concert, I don't believe that you 'found' the note. It was with you already."

The man sat stupefied, beads of sweat lined his forehead. he mustered some attempts to sound unaffected and said, "Miss Bora, I respect your way of working, and must not be offended by you suspecting me. It's you job. But let me clear it to you from my side that I didn't know a thing. I am surely not involved with anything doubtful."

"your statements unfortunately failed to comply with my suspicion. Guilty or not, I have a watch on every move, of every person around BTS. And thank you for not being offended, I don't regret any of my confrontations."

The spy stood up and marched out of the cabin, leaving the manager in a dreary oblivion. The papers dampened below his palms and his pen rolled off his fingers banging on the floor. He dialled a long number on his phone.

"She was here" he spattered in a pale voice, "how long will I have to do this?"

The man on the other side inhaled and laughed loudly

"I- I did not sign up for killing any one, do you get it?" Dae Hyun continued

"Two million won will shut you up, right? Don't forget that your daughter is still here, do you want to hear her voice?" the man's voice faded and a small girl's screech was heard

"NO!" Dae Hyun's teeth shackled, "Don't touch her, I'll do it, I'll do it, tell me."

"Hahaha, now that's like a good man. BTS concert in Macau- a guy in black jacket will hand you a small device. You just have to go and put it on the speakers."

"what will it do? You didn't tell me the last time a man handed me a paper bag too, even what did the three Polish people do, I didn't have any idea that it would turn out to be fatal. Tell me what this device will do!"

The line cut off. Dae Hyun looked at his phone with frail eyes. Oh, Su Hee... his ten-year-old daughter's face surfaced, it's been a week since she was kidnapped. Dae Hyun recalled himself lying to his wife later after he got a call from the kidnapper, about how a good winter camp came up and she has been selected for it. "it'll be great honey, she'll learn stuff! It's just for a week or two."

He cried. He was helpless and weak. All he could do with a wimpy heart like that was become a prey to the anti.

"The tickets are booked right?" Jungkook asked curiously rolling beside his blonde-headed lover.

"Yes! We'll leave directly from Macau and we'll be back on 7th morning." Jimin replied with his smiling eyes.

"I'm so excited! Finally, we'll be able to spend some time together, undisturbed and private."

Jungkook shifted towards Jimin's lap and snogged it like a baby. He held his thigh and looked in Jimin's eyes.

"We'll do the later part in Japan, wait for it."

The younger boy rolled over again and laughed.

"Oh hyung" he said, "You know how impatient I am."

---

"How do we keep the armys engaged sir?" one of the computer staffs asked the BigHit cyber unit head.

"Keep on posting 'behind the scenes' and Bangtan bombs. We'll put up the Run episode 26 on 7th and later, when they'll be busy in America, we'll post episode 27. I'll recheck the dates with Namjoon."

The spy was back at the Dormitory. The boys were in the common room having a meeting.

"This month is going to be extremely insane" Namjoon spoke, "It will be the highlight of our success. We're not only going to go to America for our promotion at the AMA's, but also for representing the K-pop culture, we'll represent the entire Korea. Numerous popular interviewers will approach us, we'll have to appear in many talk shows and events, I don't want any of us to get nervous."

The boys nodded.

"We'll make it, guys, we just need to be ourselves, no matter what."

"I and Jin hyung are practicing english already" Taehyung said, "And Jhope and Suga hyung rehearsed some frequent lines to be spoken in the interviews."

"That's amazing. Don't be afraid and don't bother about your pronunciations, be proud and express yourself." The leader ended his monolog and the members dispersed.

The next morning, while BTS was practicing in the dance room, the spy gave a second 'intentional' visit to the BigHit office. The manager wasn't in his cabin. Nevertheless, she ambushed inside and hovered her hand below his desk, pulling out a chip. She then smoothly walked out of the office building without being questioned by any of the staff, searched for cover and listened carefully to the audio recording. Her eyebrows furrowed and her stood stoned till the entire recording ended. So, this was the case... a timid man trapped in a filthy cage called blackmail.
