19th December, 2017

Hannam hills Apartments, Common room,

8:12 am KST

Everyone watched the leader fiddle with his hosiery pull-over in the morning air, visibly trying to frame a sentence to start with.

"Well..." he spoke weakly, "I received a news yesterday and we have to cancel our today's dressing sessions and postpone our plan to next week."

"What happened?" Jin asked

"We're going to a funeral." Joonie replied with a terse sadness and paused for the members to react.

"Wh-What? Whose demise is it?" Jimin questioned.

"SHINee's Jonghyun... it was really unexpected and sudden."

No one spoke for a few seconds, but it seemed like a thick silence of eternity.

"Are the group members fine?" Jin pioneered the breaking of the quiet, intense atmosphere.

Namjoon nodded, "we'll see them today afternoon. They officially announced of his demise today morning, it's a heart-breaking news for everyone- the shawols are affected, it's a chaos. Let's go and meet our brothers."

The members heard Jimin breath in shakily- he thought of how hard it might be for the SHINee group members, especially Taemin.

The following noon, BTS visited the funeral, and displayed their grief. Jimin gave Taemin a shoulder and pulled him in for a small embrace. SHINee members were still all in shock, it was obvious they had cried a lot.

The world held a moment of silence and expressed blues, wishing peace for the angel of SHINee.

The dance room was beating with rhythmic thuds of a new choreography. The entire group practiced on Pied piper's composition.

"Wow Yoongi, those body rolls are on point!" Jhope exclaimed, "Wanna get included on the dance line?"

Yoongi smirked and lifted his shoulders flashing a 'I-am-great-I-know' pose.

It was evening, the practice was wrapped up for the members except the dance line- they worked on 'The best of me' dance sequence next.

Taehyung went back to his favourite place- the roof top with his lyric book. Namjoon and Jin were in a deep conversation about what happened that morning, whereas Suga checked on his new tunes.

Helena wasn't around. She rarely is these days...

Taehyung sighed and looked at his huge blue gemmed ring on his middle finger that shone mystically under the starlight. He scribbled some words that hit his head and closed his book, pulling out his phone. He dialled her number- the rings were never-ending, she didn't pick up. He shoved his iPhone back in his pocket with disappointment. She was supposed to see him that morning, but an inevitable reason refrained her from entering Hannam hills. Her room was lifeless. There was a hollow emotion across the entire apartment; it was just too huge. All the members were too far away from each other. But there was one catch- everyone was engaged into something, but Taehyung was engaged into someone. It hurt more when he missed her so much, but she wasn't around, and he didn't know why.

Come to me, he whispered to himself, staring at the moon, I need you...

The entire day of 19th, the headquarters was bustling with agents on rigorous duty, sounds of hard boots marching rapidly through the granite floors, and robotic voices of investigators communicating to each other. It was a hell of a situation- Squad A was being prepared to be sent to Finland, the screen was being searched for more details, fingerprints or data transmissions. Nothing was too clear, nothing was too hazy.

The spy followed the agents here and there the entire day and observed the progressions of the search helplessly. It was about 11 at night, and suddenly one of the experts shouted, pointing at his monitor.

"SIR! I RECEIVED SOME DATA RETRACTIONS FROM THE LOCATION! THE ANTI IS TRYING TO REACH OUT!"

A tensed flock of men in black advanced towards the freaking guy in lab coat and glared at his screen. The location from where the data has been tried to fetch was clearly in Finland. There was no reason of delaying- squad A needs to reach there as soon as possible.

"What does it mean?" Shen asked the guy in glasses

"It means that either the anti is trying to check if the screen has been destroyed or it's a trap to defy us that he is there. Maybe he's trying to deliberately inform us about his location. It's a risky decision, sir- whether or not to believe this signal." The IPO Head showed immediate disagreement- "The plan doesn't fluctuate. Squad A will go, Squad B will research, Squad C will back up. And agent M29 stays continues her duty here till she heals completely."

No one argued furthermore, and the team was dismissed to partake their daily calculated sleep hours. Helena marched back to her cubic room and gently laid on her back. the bruises were getting numb, and her cuts were healing. The only ache that remained was the anxiety of finding the anti and reuniting with BTS for the last time before disclosing that the mission had ended.

Eight months they had said... she recalled, but everything ends in four months.

The next day, the penta-teamed Squad A lined the training platform and bowed to the Head. They were being instructed about Finland, the weapons to carry, the planning and termination.

"Bring him alive, we don't want monsters like him to die without letting us know the reason behind their lunacy. The case is fragile, and very important. This might be the last stage of this mission. I entrust upon you all to execute it without any complications other than the possible difficulties. If so, we have Squad C as a backup. You fly to Helsinki, Finland for 9 hours tomorrow early morning. Timely reporting and proper planning is expected. All the best." The Head's voice echoed. Helena stood behind the squad, eyes at the ground. It somehow pained her that it was Squad A and not her that would carry out the final stage of the mission.

That afternoon, she went to the Hannam hills and was greeted by the boys and Yeontan, of course, with an unexpected curiosity. Taehyung rushed towards her and held her as tight as he could, neglecting the thought of her being injured before. It was awkward for her being hugged publicly in the lobby under the shy smiles of all the members, and a helpless smile from Jin, but nothing could stop Tae. He felt like she was gone forever.

"I missed you" he said in her ear and released her from his hold. She blinked a 'me-too' blink.

"Well" Namjoon put a hand behind his head and broke the cute romance of the two, "How have you been? How far has the mission gone?"

She was take aback at his question and it took her a while to regain her senses, "It- it's going on well. We are just hours away of finding him."

The answer evoked more questions but seeing her wilted, reluctant face, no one tried to ask.

The following day went according to the schedule, the night went according to Tae. They sipped hot chocolate under the starry sky, staring into each other the whole time, not talking much by mouth, but conversing endless stories by eyes. He saw that she's been through a terrible incident, she saw that he's been missing her at an extent when he cried. Their rings glittered more, their hands intertwined tightly.

It was until she fell asleep on his shoulder, he realized that it's been hours of wordless talking and staring. He gently lifted her and tucked her in his bed, while he watched her the remaining time of the night. The next morning when she woke up, it took her an annoying hour of waking Taehyung.

"Come on now, it's eight! I'm sure that we slept for at least four hours!" she yelled in his ear

He smiled and pulled her in his arms, eyes still shut, "You did. I was dreaming the entire time, watching an angel before me."
