Chapter 18

Macao

Dae Hyun scampered behind the boys, looking through them in all the directions. Where is the man in black? What will the device do? Helena was not in her spy suit this time, she was around the boys, helping them with their makeup, watching the manager from the corner of her eye.

"We're ready!" the stage set-up guys and sound and light technicians called out.

"We're almost done!" the makeup ladies replied. The manager mingled around restlessly. Helena kept distance from him, knowing that the old man was being pressurized in two ways. She disappeared.

"Fifteen minutes for show time!" one of the stage staff announced.

Dae Hyun's teeth nearly rattled and his feet weakened, the man could appear any time. His phone suddenly rang, the number was unknown; it almost made him jump-

"He- hello I am insi- "

"This is agent M29 speaking, I got a man down."

The manager couldn't believe what he just heard. She caught the man with the device? He literally burst up with happiness and relief.

"Where are you?"

"The green room. he was trying to jump in from the window."

Dae Hyun rushed towards the green room and found the spy checking a thick man lying on the floor, clenching a small explosive in his hand.

"It's a sound and vibration sensitive device" she said, "He thought that I am the manager, and told me what to do with it."

The old man in glasses swallowed his guilt, "I- I can explain."

"I don't need it. I know already." Helena said and held out the small audio recording chip in her hand, "Your daughter is safe."

"great show guys!" Jhope exclaimed

"yes!" Jin replied

"I can't wait to go back and rest for a week!" Namjoon said, taking off his socks.

Taehyung pulled out his collar mic and head band. He searched for Helena.

"you were amazing guys!" he turned just as he heard her voice.

The spy walked in with the manager in the dressing room.

"the flight back to Seoul will arrive in two hours." She said and smiled at Taehyung, who smiled back at her. He couldn't wait to hold her tight.

The boys reached back at the dorm after a few hours. They all divided themselves in their rooms and shut their eyes instantly for sleep. Taehyung waited for the spy to come in, but she didn't for an hour longer. He forced his eyelids to stay open, but failed and was swept away into deep slumber.

"How did you find the culprit?" Dae Hyun asked Helena, who stood in his cabin, feet shaking, face worried.

"After I realised the situation you were in, I sent this data to the IPO and they tracked your calls. They reached out to the blackmailer and found your daughter Su Hee and- "

"where's my daughter?"

"She's at the IPO office, she's under child care service block. She is in shock. But don't worry, we found no evidences of physical abuse, she shrieked because she was scared."
