Taehyung's POV-
Chapter one of our journey was ended with the last concert of the Wings' tour and we all felt extremely emotional at the end. We received lot of love and support from the armys and felt very proud that the kingdom is expanding all over the world, we have gained millions of fans. We are grateful.
That night, after the last concert, Helena called me and we spoke for an hour about how I and the members experienced in the last three days. She kept on listening and insisted me to speak, not letting anything about her know. I was confused for why she didn't speak like she usually did, it seemed that she was hiding something. Tears probably. Her voice was pale and cracked. Yet I tried not to let her know that I sensed something going wrong with her. She said that she had to stay at the headquarters that night and would come to Hannam on 12th morning. Today she had come.
She mentioned about keeping her luggage at the first floor of the apartment and agreed to meet me at around 10 am. I was too eager to see her, so I put on the best colours that suit me, and accessorised myself with a beanie and of course the very special blue gemmed ring. I went downstairs at the main porch and saw her standing coyly with her back at me. Her hair looked longer and she looked thinner. I was expecting to see her in a dress but instead, she was covered in black skinny clothes from head to toe- turtleneck, pencil jeans and a black beanie. I went closer and placed a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and what I saw shocked me- a long bandage on her right cheek. Her eyes looked raw and weary, her skin colour looked faded and her smile was forced and unreal.
I controlled my desperate urge to ask her why was she looking terribly injured and weak but I didn't- I waited for her to speak. She wanted to go far from the apartments, somewhere only two of us could spend undisturbed time. I suggested a lake on the hillside and we took a car there. I watched her during the entire time- she kept on staring far away through the car window. Our hands were intertwined and we sat pressed against each other's shoulders, but neither did she talk to me, nor did she look at me.
After reaching our destination, we walked away from the car, spotting isolated places to sneak in. we found a beautiful place with dandelion fields along the banks of the lake and a small wooden log to sit on. I simply watched her as she nestled beside me and placed her hand on my thigh asking for reassurance and comfort. I pulled her closer to me and patted on her shoulder, studying her mind and waiting for her to speak.
She started narrating how she had to go to a mission called R.A.D and how exhausting it was. She didn't tell me any details about where she was during the concerts or what happened in the mission, neither did I ask, but she took constant care not to spill out any information and spoke very briefly. She said that she stayed at the head quarters for a few days and that they're still investigating to find the anti.
There was a momentary silence after I asked her about the bandage on her cheek. She shook her head and said 'its nothing'. I nodded but wasn't convinced at all. Maybe we both knew that she was applying soothing lies on me, and maybe we spoke more through eyes than by mouth. It was an hour or two, now she was sitting on my lap staring calmly at the lake. Then we decided to have lunch. I took her to an expensive restaurant, where we could have confirmed privacy. We fed each other, talked about our funny habits and smiled into each other's eyes the entire time. She was gradually feeling better, or at least she showed that way. We shopped at some of my favourite boutiques, except for Gucci because she denied, and had cotton candy and popcorns. We bought similar shoes and later walked for an hour looking at the sunset and listening to slow songs through my ear phones. That was the second time I was sharing my ear phones with somebody after Jimin. I felt like I was afloat, I couldn't take my eyes off from her when the last of the suns' streaks casted a golden glow on her face. Her eyes were still sparking and her smile retuned when I kissed her suddenly and pulled her in for a long hug. Her fringes were now grown and clipped to the side, and her eye lashes looked naturally curled and thick. I was with an angel, I was flying in pure bliss.
We kissed the entire journey back to the apartments and I held her tight once again before leaving her at her room. I couldn't help but think about what a great actress she is, she didn't spill the story behind her scar, nor did she flinch when I held her tight. She was injured, I could see that while she walked. I had this feeling about something going wrong- I didn't get my hot chocolate tonight, I'm sleeping alone.

She sighed and gently sat on the bed, and closed her eyes to recall her beautifully spent day. End of the dream, Helena...
She carefully unwrapped the shoes she and Tae had bought and stared at them for a long time, thinking if she was successful in fooling Taehyung that she was fine. At least she was smiling after lunch, and controlling her pain whenever Tae would hold her tight.
She went through her Instagram fan accounts that she owned, checked her other notifications and read her further objectives. She sighed again and put down her phone. She had spent the entire day with Taehyung, she felt happy and peaceful. She got changed into her comfy pyjamas and curled in the bed.
After fifteen minutes for attempting to sleep, her eyes snapped open- She hadn't made hot chocolate for him tonight! She glanced at the time and slumped back, it was too late. Nor did he knock on her door to check on as he always did, she was sleeping alone.
