Daniel, Vasco, and I had been working out in the morning for a while now, but Daniel wasn't losing weight....at all. Vasco decided to tail the short boy for a day and found out it was because of Daniel's eating habits and put him on a diet like a personal trainer.
"This is normal. Run, Daniel." Vasco said over his shoulder to the kid huffing and panting as sweat poured from his face. He was trying hard to keep up and had yet to quit, so no one could deny that he had dedication. When we paused for a break, Daniel pulled a banana from his pocket and was about to eat it, but Vasco took it from him. "No. Be patient! Follow your meal plan." Daniel began to wordlessly whine for the food, but Vasco remained firm. "No, Daniel."
It was like watching a strict parent with their child, and Vasco began to eat the banana so that it wouldn't go to waste. Daniel went really quiet as I was taking a drink from my water, and I was a bit worried by the vacant look on his face. It was like the gears in his head were having trouble turning, but then like a flip of a coin, the boy was shouting.
"....Gimme....Gimme thaaat!"
"Da-Daniel. Calm down. Wait." Vasco took a step back, and I raised a brow as the short kid went running at Vasco and threw all of his weight into a punch directed at Vasco's gut. The big guy barely had time to block, and I couldn't really be surprised much because I had beaten up quite a few people when I was hungry or tired. "....Re-Relax! Daniel!"
"Gimme. Gimme the banana. ....The banana!" And Daniel copied Vasco's fighting stance. "Give. Me. The. Banana!" The shorter boy went to swing his fist again, but Vasco knocked him out with a hit to the back of the head.
"Sorry, Daniel." Vasco then began to freak out and was shoving the banana into Daniel's mouth, and I just covered my face with my hand. "Daniel! I'm sorry! Eat it. Eat the damn banana." Vasco was crying on his knees next to Daniel as if the boy was dying from some battle wounds.
"Vasco, calm down." I said while crouching by the unconscious boy. Checking his pulse, I felt that it was a bit fast, but that was normal after he went running at the Burn Knuckles leader. "His pulse is strong. You know anyone to contact about him?"
"Daniel!" Vasco replied before picking up the short boy and carrying him on his back. "I know where he lives!" And the big guy dashed off with panic still on his face.
"Vasco!" I called out after him, but he wasn't slowing because of how worried he was. Sighing, I bolted after Vasco to try and catch up. I finally found him as he was handing over little Daniel to the Daniel from school, and he was crying again while the other boy was trying to reassure him that it was all okay.
Well....at least that was handled....I guess. What a dramatic start to the morning.

Sighing, I wiped my brow with my sleeve before stretching out my arms and back. Pulling off my work gloves, I stuffed them into my pocket while reaching for my water. Taking a step back from my work, I checked to see if it still looked the same from a distance.
One of the people Jiwon managed had wanted a custom house for his dog, and that woman had heard from my mother about how I was in the Architecture and Interior Design Department at school. She sent me some of the guy's ideas, and I set to work on building it. It's not as if I had much else to do, plus the design was interesting, and I loved animals, so of course, I was going to build the dog house.
Everything looked fine from where I was standing so far, but one corner looked a bit too sharp, so I went to grab some sandpaper to fix it. Setting down my bottle, I briefly glanced at the door of the shed when it opened. I saw Vasco walk in, and I tilted my head while reaching for sandpaper on the shelf.
"What are you doin' here?"
"Your dad said you were back here. I came to see if you wanted to hang out." Vasco smiled.
"You could have texted me." I replied.
"Oh! Are you building something?" The big guy asked while getting closer as I was walking back with the sandpaper.
"Yeah. Be careful, I had to clean up some spilled pain-" I was cut off when Vasco slipped in the wet spot I was trying to warn him about, and he crashed right into me. 'Shit, he's heavy!' I mentally groaned, but then completely froze when I opened my eyes. There were a few seconds of tension-filled silence before Vasco quickly pushed himself up as his face was blooming darker shades of red, and he took his lips off mine.
"I-I-I am so s-sorry!" The big guy managed to say as my ears were burning hot. Vasco had ended up kissing me when he fell on me, but now he was a blushing and stuttering mess as he tried to form words while he kept apologizing.
"U-Uh, no, Vasco, it's fine." I cleared my throat while still lying on the ground.
"I-It's not fine! What if- What if-" I interrupted him as I propped myself up on my elbow and grabbed the front of his shirt. Yanking him down to where his face was close to mine again, I spoke lowly.
"I said, it's fine." And on an impulse, I kissed him to make him not start stuttering about how it wasn't and why again. His lips were soft, but he was completely tense as I could feel the heat coming off his red face. Vasco was extremely nervous, I could tell, yet he slowly began to kiss back. He didn't seem sure about what to do, so he just mimicked what I was doing, and my face was starting to get warmer.
Seeing as Vasco was reciprocating, I smirked while sliding my tongue into his mouth. I could taste something sweet, so I figured he had probably eaten something before getting here. Caressing his tongue with my own, I coaxed Vasco into moving his tongue as well. 'Fuck, am I actually doing this? I'm actually doing this! Holy shit!' I thought as my grip on his shirt tightened.
'Bloody Hell, I can't believe I'm actually fucking kissing him!' Mentally freaking out, I tried to ignore the panic in my head and focus on the kiss as Vasco was starting to breathe heavier. My face felt hot, and I nipped the big guy's bottom lip before taking complete dominance in the kiss. That sweet taste in his mouth coated my own tongue, and I didn't pull back until I was curious to see what face he was making.
A string of saliva connected our tongues, and I wiped it away while looking up at him. Vasco was softly panting, his face like a cherry, and his eyes were only open halfway. Shit, that expression on his face as he was hovering over me was such a turn-on.
"....It's sweet...." I mumbled while licking my lips, and Vasco seemed to snap out of whatever daze he was in as his eyes opened wide in surprise. Then....he suddenly got up and ran out like some shoujo schoolgirl. Sighing as I looked at the door he had gone through, I just fell back to lay flat on the ground again. Touching my hand to my mouth, I felt my cheeks flush since I could still feel the heat of Vasco's lips.
"Fuuuuuucccckkkk!" I hissed while covering my face and rolling around on the floor. "Why did I do that?!" I asked myself while feeling so embarrassed. That little shot of courage from before was gone, and I was left with steam coming from my ears from how hot my face was.
Sure, I'd beaten the shit out of countless people, and yeah, I've destroyed gangs and taken their territory, but this.... This was something different. I wasn't fighting Vasco or his crew, and I wasn't taking over Burn Knuckles' territory. I had never been in love like I was with Vasco, so I wasn't sure how to handle these, ugh....feelings!
My impulsive, idiotic self also just had to go and ruin everything with Vasco by kissing him. He was probably freaking out to Jace right now, and- 'Wait....' I paused while sitting up.
"He kissed back." I mumbled while looking straight ahead. "Since he kissed back....does that mean....?" My voice trailed off before my face went red again. "Holy fuck."
